Alright United GFOPs, where's your head at? What (or who) do you think can fix Manchester United?
@JJGaming20103 күн бұрын
Been a United fan since I was a wee lad. Yes the manager, yes the staff, yes the Owners can and should be blamed. But I agree with Rog. It's deep. It honestly needs a full reshuffle. Every player, every staff. It's gonna take years, and Dare I Say It, a relegation...but they can come back if they take the time to purge the rot where it grows

You can tell it was the end when he called the ties to Porto and Fenerbache, “results”. That is quite unbelievable to hear from a Man United manager.

Everyone needs to get over Utd as a top team. They had a couple of good managers that got them 95% of their success. Their true position is mid table.

This is an absolutely ludicrous take 😂

My theory is that repeated failure is pressure related. They are recruiting players who arent up to it and dont have senior players who will help them acclimate. Imagine you are trying to find a forward who can deal with intensity of PL and pressure of playing for Man U. So you pick…a teenager from Dutch league? What are they thinking? Who is in charge of helping Rasmus succeed? Rashford?

This video is all well & good, Rog. All of what you’re saying is correct. And, yes, while INEOS made a meal of the manager situation after the FA Cup Final this past summer and have waited too long to get rid of Erik, this is their first season at the helm. The majority of the issues that were discussed in the video, outside of those tied to Erik ten Hag, are issues that INEOS is aiming to address. The Glazers treated United like an ATM. They took money out & never put ANY in. All of the money spent was what the club generated itself. INEOS have come in, infused funds, put football people in place rather than accountants and have started to change the culture. It’s going to be a process for sure & it’s not going to be an overnight change, but the right things are happening behind the scenes. And these things have quite literally NEVER happened at United. United have been a club stuck in the past in every way. INEOS is *supposed* to bring them into the modern era & it remains to be seen if that will take them back to the top. As a United fan, I have to hope so.

They're not Manchester United, they *were* Manchester United. They should rename the club Alex Ferguson FC.

You are contradicting yourself, you say one man can't transform things at United and conclude by pointing out that Arteta, Emery and Moresca have transformed Arsenal, Villa and Chelsea.
@maazkidwai65422 күн бұрын
He basically means the manager is important but if you dont let him work properly then he cant do much. Arteta and emery succeed because proper structure was behind them

ETH was the last remnant of a completely failed front office that has since been swept away by Ineos. Now we get to see what the new guys in charge are actually made of and if they are capable of hiring a decent manager and building a decent team, unburdened by the baggage that comes when your manager is the biggest fraud in the history of the Prem.

Tell him to wait and bring Onana with him And who to blame I'll say the major decisions of the new owners to begin with then to the players cause no matter what say about the coaches or managers the players or the ones on the field they're just not scoring and performance below 45%

Manchester United are NOT a football club anymore. They're a clothing brand. Their whole model is just to sign the biggest names so they can sell a shit ton of shirts with the name on them. That was the whole reason they brought back Ronaldo. They sold a whole lot of Ronaldo shirts.
@tonylipsmire59183 күн бұрын
I think the athletic or one of those channels did a video talking about how shirt sales are lucky to recover like 10% of the transfer fee in most cases. People forget the club only gets a fraction of the profit off each shirt
@vapcr3 күн бұрын
This is very real. I know this will make football fans scoff but Man United is still one of the Top 3 biggest brands in world football (perhaps 3rd behind Barca & Madrid). All my friends who haven't a clue about football (I live in the US) have at least heard of Manchester United and may even recognize the red shirt if they see someone wearing it in public. If I asked them if they ever heard of Manchester City the response would likely be along the lines of "Wait, there's a Manchester United AND a Manchester City???"

United always had a bad culture, Fergie keept discipline and winning mentality but the culture was always horrible, in addition Fergie “won” many of their titles using “winning platform” - fixed fixtures, referees and media PR, whatever Pep using now to “win” he’s titles… So if United will hire a good coach, who can replicate what Fergie did, they will take back their “winning platform” from Man city and will start to “win” titles again, but the culture will never be changed there, because that’s their history…

Sick of hearing about Man Utd as the team with a right to win everything just because they are Man Utd. All of the players believe they just have to turn up wearing their Man U shirts and expect to win. God himself could be the manager and it still wouldn't make a lick of difference as long as the parasitic assholes above him continue to cling onto the levers of power.
@JJGaming20103 күн бұрын
Not a garbage take at all. Actual Fact. Name one since Fergie who has. It's clearly a deeper issue. Staff needs to go, players need to go. Needs a full reshuffle, until that happens even Pep could go there and still lose. Managers are not owners, they can only "change" so much. Also players themselves don't care, don't fight enough
@johnboscookpala79283 күн бұрын
I really think it's a management issue even though I agree with Ten Hag having to go. A lot has to change at United to make it successful again.
