Well the funny thing is the actor of c-treprio did the documentary of the reason he was being rude, Was because he was jealous when he made C3PO he got injured in the suit in the desert, was so tight he fell and a piece of the leg cut him so!!, the studio had to get another leg for C-3po actor and he thought people would love his character as much as R2D2 but our two got all the love so he got jealous and he just let jealousy get the best of him

Anthony Daniels has some issues. I remember hearing somewhere that pretty much every portrayal of C3P0 in any form of media is played by Daniels because according to him, he's the only one who can properly replicate the character's voice and mannerisms correctly. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if a number of people on set didn't get along with him.

I din’t even noticed they hated each other, I just thought they’re trying to light things up by making C3po extra protective of R2, and R2 being a typical childish sibling playing pranks with C-3PO when he pushed him into the robot factory.
