Yeah, it was my first time seeing any awards so I had no Idea what it was about, All I knew is Star Wars was on the show and it was the 50th anniversary wich made me think it was a birthday for some important guy named Oscar. Also we only had one channel... the CBC so that is all we had to watch that night.

Maybe it's because I was 10 years old when this movie came out and it meant, and still means, so much to me. Anyway, everyone should watch the Disney+ series, "Light and Magic" about the formation and innovations of ILM, especially as it relates to the original Star Wars trilogy.

Ben Burtt deserved an Oscar. If you ever listen to _Star Wars: the Original Radio Drama_ you can just feel the adventure due to sounds, and sound effects, not to mention John Williams' musical score. It's too bad he couldn't do more 22 years later as the editor of _The Phantom Menace._
