Hi Sanjit - quite a few of us told you that you were way out on Leonard Williams' age and projected contract numbers... 1 year $6m was never going to happen, but even I'm a little surprised at the 3yr $64.5m he got from Seattle! Christian Wilkins is the reason why Clelin Ferrel shined in Clemson. He will make other Defensive ends look better. Maxx Crosby might have 20 sacks next season.

This guy had like 98 tackles in 2022, Maxx had 90 this past season. Shit is bonkers. Aside from losing Jacobs this is the perfect start to free agency. Always wondered why nobody's given Mindhew a shot with teams like Pats, Jets, Steelers, Titans, Falcons, Broncos, Comanders still not able to figure out the position. Always thought he could be more than a really good backup. He's that Snake type moxy and poise and he can create off script.

We do need another CB to put across from Jack Jones. I love Amik, but he is too short and too slow and gets beat too often. I would keep Amik, but I would sign someone like Fuller to put on the opposite side from Jones. That with the addition of Wilkins will make our defense elite.

Thanks Sanjit, I knew Wilkins was a great player, however I did not know he played so much 1 tech. Especially on pass downs. That means we can have Wilkins and Butler on the field at the same time. Combine that with Crosby and Koonce, and all of the sudden our front 4 is looking deadly as a group.

Finally we got a DT! Wilkins is beast! GM Tom off to a great start! Big position of need, in his prime along with Max. QBs are now gonna be put on notice. The Minschew signing was a master move for the GM Telesco. He got one of the most dependable and reliable back-up quarterbacks in the game. Minschew was a captain of the team in Indy as a backup. Know he can go out and see if one of the young quarterbacks can fall to him in the second round of the draft. His main objective is to build the trenches with blue chip players. Telesco knows that the top of the draft is not going to go like the experts think. Free agency is showing us this. These quarterbacks are a little above average at best. The best quarterback from this draft will probably be drafted in the 2nd or third round by a team who have players to put around them. Most of these guys cannot carry a bad team. AD and Telesco knows this. This is a WR and D and O line draft. The raiders are creating smoke screens to get the guys they really want. They’ll trade back before they trade up and they will still get Raider mentality players that they want. Physicality and aggression is paramount on AP s wish list. Let me know what you guys think.

Have a very good feeling about the Raiders defense. They might be ranked 1st in NFL this year in terms of the fewest points allowed. Takeaways probably top 5. Pass yardage allowed probably top 3 fewest. Rushing Yards allowed perhaps the top 10 fewest allowed. If their defense is elite plus offense does get going, Raiders may be a team anyone should be scared for opponent to face because of defense.

As awesome as it would be if the Raiders could get Jayden Daniels, I'm pretty sure by now there's no chance that's gonna happen. Not even in an Eli Manning scenario will it happen. But I'm thinking that Joe Milton would be a great selection for the Raiders if he's still there at #13. I mean if they really want to get a "future" QB they should bring him in. And I'd take him over JJ McCarthy. He may have been a little raw in college but the guy has an arm and can make most of, if not, all the throws and can really fling it on the deep ball. I may not be a member but I think he's worth a look and maybe even a breakdown video solely based off his performance at the combine.

Wilkins is good, NOT top 5 in anything. If you look at things like pressure%, rep win%, etc. he's average to above average. Definitely an upgrade, but no way worth being paid Top 3.
