Wild definition of “expression” you got there. If the enemy is dead you’re essentially in pve mode and all that’s left is objective decision making. How is that worthy of utilizing the word “expression” for? It becomes a math problem, there’s a clear right or wrong answer. there’s no expression buddy.

@@graverobber135 skill expression is simply an expression of skill. Dying at lvl 1 with tp is not an expression of skill, more like an expression of game knowledge.

@@graverobber135 It's pretty cheap that you could not be punished for dying which happened a lot and sometimes you could not even kill the opponent since it would put you behind the way to prevent that should be not to die vs your opponent not rely on system that helps your bad early game I still this is to fast to return to lane but it's much better then before at least.

I mean it’s all about how riot wants players to play their game. It’s obvious that they don’t want stuff like baus’ sion or proxying in general to get too much presence in the game, especially in pro scene. They want the meta to stay as it is right now and anything that dangers it it’s gonna be obliterated, like they’re doing with teleport more and more, but they haven’t deleted because they’re ok with the splitpushing meta

i don't think that's the case this time i think what happens is that teleport creates a bit of a conundrum, in one side it allows top players to split push which is what is intended for but on the other hand it creates this weird scenarios where you can get a kill and lose tempo to the player you killed, i think is pretty reasonable goal to make the player that get the kill to be the one advantaged, tp is spreading like crazy too because of how much it nullifies early lane kill pressure.

The "kill opponent, lose lane" meta after they reduced the death timer possibly resulted in the most shitty experience of playing the game if you did not run tp.

@@TheReZisTLustThat's only assuming the wave is in a freezable position right after the kill. So often, killing the opponent pulls the waves in weird spots where a freeze is not possible.

As a toplaner I remember being pissed of when they made death timers shorter a while back making this die to gain advantage strategy better. Glad they finally realized their mistake.

Bard shouldnt have died in the first place. Death SHOULD be a punishment. New death timer is working as intended. The bard deaths were atupid and pointless ints anyways

Having 4 seconds longer the time to get that plate or to push out the wave is insane. Its way easier to get huge CS and XP leads.

I think we're kind of grasping at straws around this change. There are so many variables at play here, and I don't buy that this change creates skill expression. Perhaps at the highest level of play, there will be well-informed decisions. But otherwise, you could honestly chalk this entire situation around Bard being unlucky, or just playing poorly, because he was definitely not playing well.

Well “forever” until they change death timers again… also, this impacts the pros the most and falls off in significance every tier you drop. Most players will not feel this as it impacts everyone equally.
