Actors who are still waiting tables in their 50s bc they never made it. High school and college standouts who never made the league. There are only 400 men in the NBA but tens of millions of guys all over the world who thought they were going to be the next Michael Jordan! Never happened. They became truck drivers and plumbers and janitors and collected welfare and told stories of how they almost made it but they weren't even close.
