The breathing cues are a really good reminder that make these actually effective.

Why don't orthopedic doctors, shoulder specialists, chiropractors, and physical therapists know about this? I have been suffering with this for a long time and came across this info on my own after googling for years trying to find help for what I have going on. I appreciate your knowledge and your desire to help people.

Because if they solve the problem you won’t come back n they don’t make money. Honestly the government, which is an oxymoron. The government should be funding massage. Which solves a lot of problems they issue pills for. But they won’t because they want you to die. It’s people like this man in this channel that are keeping America human

Knowing information and teaching it are 2 separate skills. Luckily Conor has both skills but most Drs. do not. Still want to be your case study Conor! Kim

@@conorharris so if you were to bench press with active external rotation like ina Reverse grip bench press, are you using the rotator cuff muscles more for pressing? Especially if you pull your shoulders down and back?

Love how things are laid out. Content with context. Explaining the how's and why's with the how to do it helps tremendously. I've been through PT more times than I've cared for due to a car accident. Didn't always get the most helpful guidance, but appreciative of when a trainer would indulge me when I'd ask the "why's". I still have issues from that accident and would go to this guy in a heartbeat. Keep up the great work!

You have answered a number of questions for me. After decades of clinicians giving me the same exercises and me telling them it wasn't working. In my case and most likely my brothers too, long thoracic nerve impingement due to kyphosis posture, first rib rotated way down(also why sternoclavicular joint separated). Which means the neck is no longer anchored on the left side, compression related pain right side of neck. Also explains why the scalene muscles scream at me from time to time. Thanks!

Would the laying side exercise help with someone with a dropped shoulder? So Sway back posture?

Exercise #3 I did before this video though definitely as a result of your videos more generally. I often get pops and cracks doing nothing but breathing so you *know* you're doing something right. I also eventually do some slow shrugs into a dip into a serratus push motion. I do this slowly and with breathing into that back cavity and I just get so many pops/cracks. It's helped me cue a bit better into how tense portions of my body were and what weight training muscles imbalances likely exacerbated these issues. Do the opposite, as it were.

Your way off Conor!!! You just need to find the triggering painful RTC. The RTC muscles will be triggered if tested properly?
