I'm actually on the Ukrainian front at the moment; I have been here since the start of war, with a few breaks in-between. I work on many levels, in many areas...from Kyiv in the first weeks of war, to Donetsk, Avdiivka, Toretsk, Kherson... His assessment is quite accurate, but not fully. His Belgorod information is inaccurate and misleading. What I wish to mention is: My work has always been with Ukrainian units. Even if Trump forces Zelenskey into a ceasefire, and he could do that in one day, by simply pulling the plug on the weapons supply. These men are not going to stop the fight! Trust me!!
@apveening

Trump pulling the plug on the weapons supply won't stop the weapons supply. There are more countries supplying weapons and most of those have Putin a lot closer to their backyards.

@apveening Ukraine will also sooner need manpower from other countries soon. I don't think Western governments are going to do this. Most of the Western governments are powerless and have their own economy issues. US could do it but Trump can't deliver to the US people what he promised so he is not going to do it.

i love the part were in 2 years, i never saw an actual number of Ukraine losses, it seems like they have lost nothing right?😂. my guy, if you literally need to mobelize in order to invade kursk, then you know Ukraine needs men, but no one will tell you, zelensky says only 40.000 were lost, 3 months after kursk Ukraine wants another mobelization, idk about you. but those mobelization you just get dragged from the streets into a van, men are fleeing Ukraine, Ukraine even sending its cops to fight. only one will fight to the last man, only one can still get 1 million more soldiers if only have the money for it, luckily Ukraine has gotten 300 billion in aid, from armour to bullets to salaries. Ukraine has gotten 100 billion more euro than the whole Europe military budget combined.

It is amazing how most of Western Europe is still in a State of Denial about this war. While most of Europe is prepping for Christmas a few hundred miles to the East in Ukraine, there is a very Bloody War still going on. This War might just be the prelude to a larger War that we were able to dodge in the 1980's. I remember those years, because I spent three years of it at RAF Lakenheath in the UK. Great summation. I never thought Ukraine could win on the battlefield. They refuse to sacrifice hundreds of thousands in assaults with zero chance of survival. BUT I insist that Russia cannot continue much longer on the economics, financial and disaster fronts. The ruble is dead, inflation is probably 25%, oil sales are declining and the endless raids on refineries, pipelines, ammo & fuel dumps, factories, railroads, etc are hitting home, not to mention the crumbling infrastructure, equipment problem, declining airline industry. The social breakdown is as lethal as the physical one with acts of barbarism presented as the norm.

Trump will have little to no influence on what Putin wants, Putin has never cared about that before. Only a country like China could possibly do something, but I doubt that too. Geographically, Russia is becoming increasingly dependent on countries that still want to trade with Russia. The sanctions regarding no longer trading in rubles are finally bearing fruit because reports are there that domestic inflation in Russia is rising rapidly, shortages are emerging everywhere, the economy is focused purely on war material (and they can't even keep up with that). If, as they say, the supplies of armored vehicles and tanks are running out, and the only tactic that keeps Russia in the war / makes progress is meat waves, then that must be very demoralizing if Ukraine can strike again and again. Taking back the initiative will indeed be important for Ukraine. Although I do have the feeling that they are quite busy with that in terms of destroying targets far behind the fronts. The Black Sea Fleet is almost completely disabled or no longer significant, large refineries are being hit and disrupted up to 700-1,000 km away. This will hurt Russia a lot because they do not have the manpower to be present everywhere, to throw defenses everywhere. Simply put, there are too many installations. In that respect, Ukraine can keep shifting their goals and keep misleading Russia. The development of war material by Ukraine is absolutely not standing still, partly thanks to the continued supply of technology from the West, which Russia has a great shortage of. Ukraine will not give in to the Russians. I suspect that the only thing that could really stop the war is for someone in Russia to say and think; "this far and no further" and depose Putin. Although Putin has made sure for decades that he no longer has a real opponent. Trump has the advantage that the world has been taking tough action against Russia for years now, Russia has been weakened by this, but that Trump is the one who caused this... no. What has already been said regarding the delivery of weapons and money being blocked by the Republicans, even to the contrary.
