i was a big admirer of him until last year, since my childhood i was agnostic and rationalist. Last year, i decided to read his book Death thought of giving a chance. it was all rubbish just praising the east, east that east this, hindu that hindu this with illogical statements, since then i never looked back at him, he was a complete pro Hindu. i cant digest this kind of people who are obsessed and stuck in the religion. About his enlightenment?? read his book the mystic musing couldn't complete the first 20 pages i have left that book in my store room, might burned it during winter time for the heat or use it to wipe my ass off when our toilet paper runs out.

I would like to give my opinion on this. I am Brazilian and I have 70 years of life. I think all Indian gurus are wonderful. I've read dozens of books about the most important of this last century. But I never followed any guru. The gurus are there and I am here. I am very grateful to all of them but my life is my life and I filter everything I hear. They have greatly enriched my life. I am very grateful for all of them. And much gratitude for India's fantastic spiritual culture. And I would also like to say this: if you are not a controversial person, if you don't make people feel strange, then you are not a good guru. The guru's job is to shake the world to wake people up. They don't want to please anyone. If you are ready to see the flower and smell its perfume, then you will. If you are not ready then you will only feel its thorns. .

There are few things I think you didn't come to realize when you say that you are here and they are there... there's no such thing , that's because you didn't remove the boundaries of your existence, there is no here and there , because only physicality has these boundaries. They are everywhere as you should be . They aren't in the boundaries of physicality, but because you didn't transcend the body and mind , you didn't get to experience that presence of who they are. Same with you have your life and it's your life and their life, there's no such thing , you have only ur mind and body which can be and are separate from others, but there's no my life and your life. Everything it's just life , becoming life its only thing you can achieve and touch , it's a dimension, but owning a life its not a possibility .

But when I say "them there and I here" I am referring to the management of my life and my filter of interpretation of what is said by other people. Yes, we are totality, there is no way to experience universal love without plunging into the dissolution of our egos. But there is simultaneously the realization that we also have lifetimes detached from wholeness here in physicality. It's not because something was said by a renowned guru that I automatically subscribe to it. We must live in love that dissolves borders, but our biggest border is within us and not in the world. The world outside is the world outside, I am truly me when I live the world from myself. This is all just a semantic issue. Modern Western languages ​​are not good for talking about these matters.

I practice Isha yoga, been through all the programs, Sadhguru is definitely the real deal, enlightened and guru, but still I am utterly in love with Osho. Osho is just wise and magical beyond imagination, the way he oozes love and transcendence is just unbelievable. Combine that with his cutting sharp perception and understanding and no-bullshit way of addressing everything. However, Sadhguru is real, if you can surrender to his presence it can be it for you...

Sadhguru is the most authentic mystic and guru I have ever seen. He is very down to earth and laughs with his whole belly. You can tell his chakras are fully aligned. He is warm, funny, astute, and very deep at the same time. Osho on the other hand seems to have some other thoughts going on. I believe he was a master but a master of the dark arts. His whole aura shows it. When I see a video of Sadhguru sitting on a bench even before he starts speaking my whole being starts to smile. He just exudes that energy and I know he's going to say something profound but in a way the draws out laughter even while understanding and awareness of this shortcoming we ourselves might embody. Just take the test - watch any 2 videos, one of Sadhguru and one of Osho, I bet only Sadhguru will make you laugh while at the same time teaching you a lesson or making some profound expression of the human condition. Osho will have some more dark foreboding comment about humanity. I just see a huge difference between the 2. Of course they both come from very similar backgrounds so many of the things they say will be from the same source or teachings. But it's very easy to veer off in the wrong direction which I feel Osho had gone. 2 people can "say" the same thing, but how they present it, meaning the energy they give off, can be quite different. I am a big fan of Sadhguru. I've seen him in many videos either at large gatherings or with one on one discussions. He is the real deal. A great Guru for our times. Osho on the other hand was mired in many controversies. I don't think his legacy has really survived very well. Sadhguru knows enough to not throw shade on Osho because he knows many people still follow him and best to stay away from creating controversy in that respect. Just teach and say what you have to say, don't worry about making any comparison. I on the other hand do not have to shy away from making comparisons. Peace to all!

Sadghuru net worth is 25 million....He's quite the individual for a man seeking enlightenment and ridding himself of individualism. i've never heard him speak on any deeper concepts of spirituality. It's all very surface level and i'm not saying there's anything wrong with that. I believe he does have some internal cultivation but it's not on anywhere near the same level as Ramana Maharashi or the other famous guru's of that time.

Osho is a failed master. His life and death both were tragic and his Sangha is no more than a joke. I am from Pune . Go and see the condition his center is in right now. It's physically falling apart like nobody really takes care of it.
