Now that I think about it, the tingly back thing might be a reference to Kundalini, the coiled serpent, the “Fire Serpent” laying dormant at the base of the spine is a pool of untapped energy we all have within us just waiting to be awakened. When activated, rising along the spine which in real life, can be described as giving a tingling sensation or buzzing or vibration tingling whatever, going up along the spine. I doubt that was actually what Toriyama meant that to be. But what do I know?

I think that the Universe 6 Saiyans happened to be one of the best variations that the Dragon Ball super has had. Plus the introduction of Cabba, Kale ( Universe 6 equivalent of Broly) and Caulifla really gave both Goku and Vegeta future pupils of their sister universe. If they ever do revisit Universe 6 I would love to see kale and caulifla actually use the same Fusion that Goten and Trunks use to become Gotenks.

I love how they introduced the mirrored universe concept just to screw it up immediately by introducing a random Yardrat from Universe 2, implying there could be other versions of Saiyans or earthlings in the multiverse despite establishing Races are only similar in the mirrored universes.

The history of the Uni 6 Saiyans seems like it might be meant to be a somewhat wholesomeified version of Uni 7's. Instead of being space barbarians, they became basically space cops and legendary heroes. They never invaded and took over other planets, and they never ended up getting destroyed by Frost the way Freeza destroyed the Saiyans. Looking at it from this perspective, and seeing Caulifla and Kale as the universe 6 mirror of Goku and Broly, it could even be an indication that had things gone differently Goku's personality as Kakarot would have been rather similar to Caulifla's in that he'd still have the same love for fighting and growing stronger, but would be even more energetic due to not getting raised by martial artists who taught him about calming his mind, and he would still have been ultimately kind hearted despite being a little bit more edgy. He'd probably also have ended up growing up with Broly as his closest friend, and might have even ended up becoming chummy with Tarble instead of Vegeta. I'd imagine that Raditz would probably still generally go off and do his own thing rather than hanging around his little brother, and he'd probably be the one to end up buddying up with Vegeta, who also would have been more kind hearted from the start due to being raised under better circumstances. Nappa would probably still be a big father-like figure to the both of them, but Vegeta's father and Bardock would also have had bigger roles in their lives as well, just as they would for Tarble and Kakarot. Maybe Paragus would even be less of an awful father, and might have had some history with Bardock or something. Lots of interesting perspectives on how such an alternate history might have panned out in Universe 7 when you take the time to think about it.

First, love the video! Great job! The only thing I took slight exception to was "Everyone's a prodigy now." You're not wrong, but I think you forget the scale we're working with. Everyone from each universe was among the very most powerful in their respective universes. By definition, they would be the prodigies. I know it does get repetitive in terms of "prodigies and most powerfuls", but it is realistically the only pool of people qualified to be challenges at this point. Again, love this and many other videos, just thought that was worth mentioning. 😀

But the thing is Goku is on a different scale he absorbed ssg into his base learned to add blue on top of that and got even stronger through more arcs.whereas universe 6 Saiyans are more peaceful and couldn't even go ssj.How did these 3 "prodigies" get so strong in such a short amount of time being able to rival goku despite having normal training unlike Goku who had godly training for years.

@@yimwee2401 Goku wasn’t a prodigy, he was sent away for being literally the opposite of that. If Goku, who was sent away for his lack of potential can stand up against the gods, anyone can, it doesn’t require a prodigy and you’ve completely missed the point of the original story.

I think Goku just got considerably stronger by the time he fought Kale and Caulifa in that tag team (As well as holding back in various points in the T.O.P even in that fight) That was post Omen round 1 vs Jiren though and after he got some power from Frieza. There's also the fact that Goku got absolutely dogged walked by Jiren in Kaioken Blue x20 pre-omen to fighting in Tandem with Vegeta against him. So it really's just a mix of characters holding back as well as breaking their limits at various points too.

The universe 6 saiyans have a much higher floor in terms of potential, but the ceiling for universe 7 saiyans is stupidly high (Broly is a great example)

actually wasnt the cannon that the saiyan had two races as a species. the goku and vegeta + the uni 6 but in the timeline of 7 the bad saiyans won cause of the osaru form and cumber and in universe 6 the good ones won somehow. even in the movie was told that the ritual for saiyan god was invented by the good saiyans. The most notable diferrence is that the bad saiyans had the osaru tail + powers

The way I see it, the people in universe 6 don't have exact counterparts in universe 7. It's just a different universe that happened to start out similar with the same races.

I think the craziest thing about Cabba, is that even throughout all the things Vegeta had been through, he points out that Cabba is the same power level as himself while they are in base form. Of course while both of them are Super Saiyan, Cabba would've been just a little stronger due to that rage boost moment..but they were still relatively the same power level. Vegeta was definitely holding back, but mainly just him caring about winning. Reminds me of something. It's also crazy that SSJ2 Berserk Kale was somehow WEAKER than she was in SSJ Berserk. That scaling was beyond slimy.

Toriyama had in mind that since they never really fought before they would be WEAK like hell and would have to train for years on hardcore mode to even make it into the tournament. But Super in general was a massive chaos to produce and they scrapped a ton of stuff wich could have saved it. So the reason for the chaotic powerscaling is chaotic writing.

I think U6 had the luxury of nearly always battling one way or another + just having infinite potential/prodigies. Yeah Goku and Vegeta train but it seems that battling itself makes a bigger dent than what they were doing up to meeting Whis.

you want a proper answer start from the top . vegeta at base far outclassed cobba then he showed him ssj and still outclassed him then he made it a point to show him to keep growing ... goku did the same in the t.o.p. with the girls and - to answer your question . goku used blue to try and snap kale out of it if not to tank her hits so he wasnt knocked out . he had been using the form as a shield the whole time till jiren .. you hate the ark so much you refused to take in whats actually happening . holding back is an under explination its flat out waste is what he was doing and he does that alot in near every ark as far back as his 1st fight on namek with kaioken . for the love of god get over your bias for 2 seconds so you can actually see whats in front of you

I think its comparable U7 got to where they are through training and experience and mentorship (in some areas) U6 had the benefit of getting extremely seasoned mentorship from U7 while sharing a similar level of innate potential, so they advanced much further, faster (at a younger age) because of it Let alone putting them all in the pressure cooker that was the ToP and you have a recipe for extremely great gains in a short period of time

That Tingly Back thing honestly was just a way to get characters powerful without having to spend budget or money to do progress of hard work and training, it doesnt make sense why they knew that thing but none of the U7 Saiyans, if it is concentrating ki then we would have known this and getting SSJ2 easily shows it was just a cheat code.

Honestly if ssj1 was unlocked like that I wouldn't complain (super Saiyan bargain bin) but ssj2 is bs cabba had at least some actual good explanation with his rage in the u6 tournament and I wouldnt complain if he hot ssj2 but it was BS when caulifla got ssj2 she hadn't even used ssj1 like how Goku did and tried to use it even more than base ssj1(it could have been an excuse to bring the ssj grades back for u6) caulifla ssj2 felt like a cheat

to be fair turning blue in the TOP strategically is a decent move. your standard combatant wouldn't be able to sense god ki. similar to how characters in the DB verse cant sense the energy of androids (minus cell). while a skilled fighter may feel the "pressure" of their power that's more of a general idea based on said fighters experience. also blue was technically the best form in terms of ki control minus possibly ss1 or ss god, at least after the events of the goku black arc. so it can be said that for 95% of the fighter in the TOP going blue or god was actually an incredibly smart tactic at least at the start.

Could you make a video who strong is Krillin with Mutenroshis muscle/max form, Tenshinhan now with 4 arm tecknic + Dodo + kaioken, Chauzu with his magic (trained/upgraded), Yamchu with upgrated wolf tecnic (body standing) and Spirit ball (one per hand and capebile into splitting in a smaller one for each finger) (so Yamchu could fight on the level of the others)

I would guess U6 saiyans are technically further in their physical evolution than U7 saiyans because they lack tails. So maybe they're more predisposed to ascended saiyan traits.

My personal theory is they aren't exactly the same species, but perhaps the other race that inhabited their home world in the past that universe 7 Saiyans wiped out, universe 6 Saiyans bred with them instead, and that's why they have a different temperament and no tails, but also are still capable of becoming Super Saiyan.

If you are talking about the Tsufruians (a.k.a. Tuffles), that isn't possible because Universe 7 Saiyans invaded Planet Plant, where the Tuffles reside. While Universe 6 Saiyans never left their home world, Planet Sadala.

@@donaldrts The Bardock story shows him going to an ancient planet Plant, later renamed Vegeta, inhabbited by "Saiyans", which were those weird little purple slug things? which maybe we can discount as non canon. King Kai mentioned the Tuffles sharing a homeworld with the Saiyans during some exposition in the anime after Goku shows up to train under him. They looked like humans/ saiyans with no tails. I don't remember what GT said about them. So there's conflicting information there. And it depends what is considered canon or not. Which one of those planets are the Tuffle from exactly, are you sure it's Plant/ Vegeta and not Sadala? In either case both of those planets had another sentient race of people on them.

My personal theory is that at some.point in the distant past, somebody transplanted some humans from the doomed universe 6 Earth, and the universe 6 Saiyans are actually human/Saiyan hybrids. Like most universe 7 hybrids, they have no tails, have less battle lust than purebred Saiyans, and can learn super Saiyan transformation with considerable ease.

Universe six saiyans are overpowered... I mean compared to the average saiyan level in universe 7 (which was 600 or less for men not for kids 😂) cabba being equivalent to vegeta in base when vegeta absorbed god ki is hilarious.. also even if he didn't it would still be irrational.. In that way every single average saiyan there can just destroy the multiverse if one want and with no struggle... frieza saga goku can destroy a universe with his raw power... DBS power scales don't make sense to me.

But seriously I think it was a little silly to have be able to become SSJ. They wanted them to be different to 7’s Saiyans by having them be peaceful and no tails which means no Oozaru. They should have given them some other form so that could keep up with Goku. Or just have them be more powerful.

Why is this hard to understand ? U6 = Growth U7 = volume they explained it in the manga and anime they may be using the same form but they differ in quality . goku's ssj is not the same as caulifla's ssj and so on . in the way they relate is . universe 6 has faster growth universe 7 has more per level . the universe 6 saiyans will need more levels to match universe 7 's lower levels its because the teachers master the students benefit its classic progression how is this hard to see ?

Example using money : $1 usd has different value then $1 Won both are still 1 dollar in their currency. that fact changes everything it litterally means the u6 grow and stabolize in power at different levels the use will be different the attacks strength and how many they can do will be different everything related to power would center around growth rather then mastery .

No the reason why Broly is more powerful is because he’s a man. Just like humans men are bigger and have more testosterone.
