There’s another Scrooge who hated Christmas known as The Grinch from Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas who along with the antihero protagonist of A Christmas Carol are both antihero protagonists of their respective Christmas stories from Charles Dickens and Dr. Seuss respectively who loathe Christmas at the start of their stories and suddenly realize the error of their ways and become better people at the end of their respective stories! The only difference between these two stories is that they take place in different places in different time periods, have different authors, and the major difference, The Grinch plotted to steal the Christmas from the Whos of Whoville by disguising himself as an evil Santa Claus only for him to realize the error of his ways, have his heart grow three sizes, and hear the Whos singing without any presents to bring some warmth in his heart so he can bring all the stolen goods back to Whoville!

It's sad how Scrooge ended his friendship with Santa due to their differing viewpoints: Santa wanted to bring people some happiness in their lives while Scrooge did help but didn't want to do it for free. Given how Scrooge had to work in order to gain his eventual fortune, he believed that people shouldn't be given free handouts since Scrooge never had any much of anything growing up. Afterwards Scrooge began to loathe his former friend due to their differing viewpoints and didn't wish to see him again because of how they were partners but ended up going their separate ways.

I think it would have made more sense and been in character if the reason Scrooge disliked Christmas was because it diminish hard work. In McDucks eyes everything you have is something you have earned, not something you've been given without being a part of a deal. In other words he view Santa as a man that gives away Trophies to everyone, while his own trophies were all hard earned. At least that is my view of the character

Duck Tale reboot may have ended, but Duck Tale will always be my top one favorite Disney XD show, along with Gravity Fall. And Scoorage will always be one of my favorite characters in Duck Tale. But unlike him I love Christmas & Santa.

When Mickey's Christman Carol came out in 1983 I remember a newspaper critic who complained that the English Ebenezer Scrooge was given a Scotish accent. Before the first version of Ducktales came out Scrooge McDuck was not known by people who didn't read comics. Until Ducktales Mr. McD had very few appearences in Animation and so was not known to the general public,

I think Disney used scrooge from the story "Christmas Carol" to create their own character by the name scrooge mcduck and not surprisingly he played the role of scrooge in Micky mouse adaptations of "Christmas Carol"

But a duck is not a turkey, thus not cannibalism. For example, a hawk eating a duck wouldn't be cannibalism either since while both are birds they are not the same species. Cannibalism is a member of a species eating another member of the exact same species. So if a duck ate a duck that would be cannibalism.

We've all seen the Grinch and we all know why he hates Christmas because he never really got to celebrate Christmas with anyone he was always alone which I find just really sad including here on A Christmas Carol that's also sad because ebony never really had any happy times in his life Christmas whenever Christmas comes around I always just think about other people and mean like what if somebody can't celebrate a Christmas there are some kids out there who can't get toys I love donating toys the kids who can't have any I did this once I think twice I think I don't remember and I just feel so bad for the characters in this movie mainly Ebenezer Scrooge who never really got to celebrate the Christmas maybe I watched a movie last night and I've been trying to figure out why he was such a hateful man I thought it was only because of his partner Jacob Marley nope it wasn't well maybe it was but yeah movies like this they're just sad and I feel so bad for the characters that I can't celebrate Christmas until the end when they actually get to have their first Christmas it's it's beautiful at the end of movies like this

Scrooge McDuck is called Scrooge for a reason, because he believes that while Santa has just about the whole world's provisions and not to mention everybody loves him, Scrooge had to literally work half his life for attention and avoiding his family and the holidays to not make himself look meek, like most parents these days, he just can't stand the commercialism and wastefulness
