I think what you described is exactly what I see, but on the surface people just see him as a money grub. It feels similar to how Gary Vee can rub people the wrong way through initial interactions, but overtime, people who give him a chance understand him more. Louie DID say that he would own most of Scrooge's wealth *multiple* times Also Huey and Dewey aren't interested in Money Huey likes being wise and mysteries Dewey likes daring adventure I personally think that Louie might inherit Scrooge fortune but on the OTHER hand Scrooge did say that Louie would be a bigger billionaire then he was one day meaning that he would make his fortune himself by being sharper than the sharpies I belive that louie would own most of Scrooges fortunes but another family member will inherit his wealth Which is why I belive that Della and Donald would inherit Scrooge's fortune after he passes (if he ever does die) He took them in when they were about the triplet's age, he went on daring adventures with them and even though he hasn't talked to Donald for ten years he still shares a great bond with him, allowing him to move his houseboat to his mansion and taking him in Same for Della, he spent years trying to find her and when she got back he was overjoyed (Also I think that Webby is part of the family because in *The Last Crash of the Sunchaser* , Scrooge said that she indeed *Wasn't* family but after the *Shadow War* he relises that she doesn't have to be blood related to be family. So it's possible she would inherit his wealth because she is devoted to the family and she would have their back's in any situation)

@@jessr1698 I agree with you, but I feel like she's more likely to go with Louie. Even though Webby and Dewey seem great on the surface, they don't actually mix at all. They're love for adventuring is the only thing they have in common and that is shown more in the monopoly episode when they realize that they aren't that great together when it comes to things outside of adventuring. Louie and Webby on the other hand may seem like an even worse match up on the surface, but they're differences actually bring them together in this situation. Since the two of them are so different in mindsets they constantly learn from one another. For example, in the most recent episode they had together, it was Louie that understood what was best for Webby instead of Mrs. Beakley. Louie also got her to no longer give up on humanity. Dewey and Webby just seem way more vanilla in comparison to me.

Huey - All of Scrooge's maps, his museum and most of his artifacts (the will specifies the exceptions, which go to members of the family that are attached to them), plus title of chief of Clan McDuck if Donald doesn't want it. Dewey - The adventuring part of Scrooge's empire. Louie - The financial part of Scrooge's empire (so most of Scrooge's monetary wealth, plus every business in his name except the adventure business). Webby - Secretary of Clan McDuck and guardianship of Dismal Downs and the Templar treasure. Lena - A job running the magical defenses for the McDuck empire. Fergus, Downy and Matilda - Specific memories in the secret chest in the money bin--plus the #1 dime. Goldie - The goose egg nugget, her lock of hair and the deed for White Agony Creek (which she hasn't taken possession of yet in this version). Feathry - The submarine research station, under the charge of Huey and Louie. Launchpad - The Sun Chaser. Gladstone - Nothing. What on earth could he possibly need, besides a spine and a sense of responsibility?

Even if Scrooge considers them as real family I Don't think he's gonna leave his fortune and neither his company to them; Fethry might be smart but isn't exactly the best business man (or duck?), as for Gladstone he already has a lot of money but isn't responsible at all. I believe that all of Scrooge’s nephews would be in the will. I will say how the nephew would be included and what they would do with it. *Donald and Della* : Since Donald and Della were Scrooge’s partners in adventure, they would inherit not only the treasures they collected with Scrooge, but also the right to the McDuck Museum. Della would be the tour guide because she has a intelligible voice and Donald would be the clerk/ occasional bouncer. *Huey, Dewey, and Louie* : I feel Huey, Dewey, and Louie would all run the business, but different parts of it. Huey would run the R&D department, researching ancient myths and legends and testing new products, Dewey would go on treasure hunts to find those treasures, exploring exotic regions to adventure. Louie would handle the actual businesses of McDuck Unlimited, keeping control of everything. That’s how the nephews would contribute to the will.

That could definitely work. Another strong possibility, in my honest opinion, is that all four kids grow up to run some aspect of McDuck Enterprises. Louie could run the business end of things because he has the drive to earn money and the know how to make that money. Of course, by the time he's all grown up, he'll be trying to make an honest buck instead of scamming people. Huey could take over the experimental tech division after working alongside Fenton and Gyro for a couple of years, and he'd have B.O.Y.D. by his side too. Huey's very logical and analytical, so it makes sense for him to take charge of the technical aspects of the company. As for Dewey and Webby, I could see them being a legendary adventurer duo uncovering the secrets of the world not even Scrooge could discover. They're both nuts and ambitious, and they make a great team already. Of course, I could see Dewey striking out on his own as a solo adventurer using everything he's learned to make the world his. As for Webby, she would make an awesome super spy plain and simple.

I think Huey should inherit the fortune. He is the oldest sibling and he is the only triplet who is... *"not crazy or greedy"* plus he has a pure kind heart to always put others before him. He would use Scrooge's wealth for good intentions and not dangerous exploring or selfish reasons like Huey and Louie. For example we already saw what happened when Louie became the richest duck in the world and he almost got himself killed within a whole day. So Louie is not responsible to inherit the fortune and therefore should never be the one to inherit the fortune. And then we have Dewey who is just as crazy as Della. All adventure hungry with no logic in his mind whatsoever. If he inherited the fortune then I bet he wouldn't last an entire day without doing something reckless and stupid. He would instantly get himself in some kind of danger and get himself killed. *But if neither of them then I think Webby should inherit the fortune*

I have to disagree. I mean having a pure kind heart is certainly a good thing but it's definitely not going to help you run a bussiness. It just doesn't seem like Huey is cut out for that, to be honest. Sure, he's smart, but he's also kind of gullible. He's always being tricked by Louie or even Gavin/Tenderfeet that one time. I think that if he was responsible for McDuck Enterprises it wouldn't be too hard for a conman to come along and con him or for another bussiness man to show up and convince him to accept a bad deal. Webby has a similar problem. She likes to see the best in people which is often a good thing but not really when it comes to business. At the end of the day I think they're both just a bit too naive and trusting for the whole CEO gig. You're spot on when it comes to Dewey, though. I just think you're wrong when it comes Louie. He may have nearly gotten himself killed as the richest duck in the world but so did Scrooge, unlike his uncle though Louie actually managed to solve the problem for good which is definitely a point in his favour. Of course, he was certainly irresponsible with the money, but he learned his lesson at the end. It's like the episode tells us, he's not ready yet but he'll probably be in the future when he grows up. I mean, let's be fair, I don't think any child can be ready to run a multimillion dollar company. Louie's greedy and selfish, yet so is Scrooge. That's why they have their family around to call them out on it. Louie's actually shown more humble so he might even listen to Huey and Webby better than Scrooge. Plus, I think he's the only one that actually wants the job. I'm pretty sure neither Webby or Huey are interested.

Scrooge is definitely too smart to put all of his eggs into one basket. He'll most likely leave most of his fortune to the triplets and Webby. However, his legacy in general will be carried by many more, because I believe he's preparing the world for the day he's gone. Let's not forget that he charged Gizmo Duck with the defense of Duckburg in Scrooge's absence. He also apparently had several mechanisms in place for global defense. (Which were accidentally destroyed by Louis or otherwise defeated during the Moonvasion, but you get the point.) Scrooge is always planning ahead so it should come as no surprise that he has plans beyond his lifetime.

I think they’ll all inherit parts of it. Huey will be in charge of the more research oriented parts of it, probably working closely with Fenton and Gyro. Dewey will be the adventurous one finding new wealth and fame. Louis will handle the actual business parts of it the personal relationships the branding the selling. Webby will probably work closely with Dewey and be in charge of some sort of McDuck museum keeping the legend and fame of Scrooge alive. Donald and Della will most likely be doing their own thing but will probably help.

That's partly why the triplets are under his wing. He sees different aspects of himself in each one of them. And by the time he would pass, the kids would be used to a life of wealth, so there is a chance there might not be that much fighting if they get it split evenly. Louie would be fine because he would just use his part of the inheritance to make more money anyway, so he'd likely not care all that much, Dewey would just use his part to replenish the wealth of the family through adventuring, and Huey would be the curator who loans out what they find/already found to different museums around the globe.

The sight of Scrooge chasing Donald through the park while trying to convince him how easy and fun it is being a tycoon is hilarious. Barks' comics were brilliant. The one thing that never jived with me when it came to the DuckTales-incarnation of these characters, is that Webby is to be treated as a close relative. The mere notion of her being in Scrooge's will just sounds bizarre to me, but I understand it's not quite as jarring to people who only know Scrooge from DuckTales and not the source material.

This is a really tough question, I mean this assumes that if Scrooge Mcduck eventually dies of old age and before his family, friends and employees, he's extremely advanced in age and yet the fact he can still go on adventures suggests that his body has not been weakened by old age at all, but if he does die and leave a will, he would probably have it go to all of his family, friends and employees, provided they pass one of his last tests and adventures to prove they are tougher than the toughies and smarter than the smarties. That way they won't waste it all. Only those who pass his final test will get a share of his fortune though, those who fail will not get a single penny from him.

My money's on Webby because when it comes to Triplets it's split down between them, however they COULD inherit Scrooge's money as a trio and work their way around it. Huey will deal with financial situation, Luey will run the business and Duey will do scavenger hunting and replenish their stocks with treasure. The main reason why I think Webby will inherit Scrooge's everything is because she's*obsessed* with McDuck family and giving money to her will balance things out. Also Beakly will work well as her secretary too. Also by the time the Triplets grow up each of them will be oversaturated with their personal lives.

Donald can be a spendthrift but while Carl Barks's comics goes back and forth between Donald and HDL as his heirs, Donald often refuses because he doesn't want to dedicate his life to business or to waste it trying to protect it from everyone. In the comics and his early cartoons, he has a LOT of other interests that he's often excellent in before his bad luck ruins it. But I agree that DONALD is Scrooge's true heir, not that glorified newbie, Webby.

It should be Louie Duck. From early on in the series, Louie was always interested in Scrooge's Wealth. We all assumed Louie would less likely be the candidate for Scrooge's riches, but through out the course of this show, Louie has learned a lot from his great uncle. He has proven to be wiser and more mature than his brothers. Louie could inherit Scrooge's wealth because of his thoughtfulness.

I wonder if we will ever see Scrooge’s death again, or the allusions thereof. In the previous show, Huey, Dewey, and Louie inherited Scrooge’s fortune, and became cold blooded businessmen, partnered with Magica. Carl Barks also drew an image of the duck family, older, gathered over Scrooge’s grave, which was also covered in some of his money, as if he was trying to take it with him.

I enjoy your videos, but here are I few things I've noticed in years of watching cartoon. 1. It's hard to really kill a cartoon character, unless you have that "dip" stuff from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?". 2. Laughter keeps toons young. That was mentioned in the Tiny Toons episode "Fields of Honey". I also recall an episode from the original Duck Tales series when Magica De Spell used some "sands of time" spell to send Scrooge into the future when Huey, Dewey, & Louie were working for Magica, but that could just be due to the events that happened in that episode. Even if I'm the only person who believes this, I'd bet that if he were to pass on his number one dime (instead of taking it with him to the grave) it would go to Donald. The dime is a symbol of hard work, above all else. Something that Donald knows plenty about. Other than that, Louie might actually learn how to run a company and inherit McDuck enterprises, Della would get the house (with Mrs. Beakley's contract and probably not Duckworth's ghost) all the kids would stay there, and the Other Bin is only allowed to Huey while Dewey gets claim on anything in the garage.

I think it will be inherited jointly by Huey, Dewey, Louis and Webby because they collectively share the wisdom of Scrooge Mcduck which he recognizes in them. His repeated quote on how he got rich in the first place was by being "smarter than the smarties, tougher than the toughies, and sharper than the sharpies." And the triplets each exhibit one of those three things. Huey is smart, Dewey is tough, and Louis is sharp. And while some might think only the three of them may inherit Scrooge may include Webby for the same reason why Donald and Della aren't heirs-they fight. Donald and Della constantly and the twins do aswell, but not when Webby is around. Webby by not being a blood relative does not have the temper of the Scrooge family and therefore makes a perfect mediator to keep the triplets working as a team. And it is not so much the faith in each duck kids skill that makes them heirs to Scrooges fortune, but their ability to work as a team.

I think if it boiled down to the new generation of huey dewey louie and webby, here's what would happen: Huey is in charge of the technical things, archives, keeping everything in working order. Dewey would be the main explorer occasionally exploring on his own or with his own team if everyone else is busy(also maybe promoting the mcduck business image) Louie would manage most of the business aspects Finally, webby would get most of the relics and be apart of most of Dewey's solo missions.

I've read a comic that said that Scrooge wanted to leave all his wealth to Huey, Dewey, and Louie because of their entrepreneurial spirit (they were selling lemonade at that time, also bear in mind that in the comic lore they all have the same personality). However, he still believes that Donald and Gladstone are kin, so he decided to test them by giving them $1000. Donald failed (only managing to get $1000 + a pack of soda from an airline company because he accidentally made trees fly), while Gladstone became Scrooge's competitor. In the end, it is still unclear would they inherit or not as Scrooge only put them in risky business that he would never compete in (Donald in the selling street soda in which he drinks his stock of sodas, while Gladstone in selling comic books in which he reads a ton of the sealed books)

Since the FOWL leaders are obviously getting fired in the future, I think the Scrooge's family (blood and found) will take over together after Scrooge is gone. The found family including Gladstone, Fethry, Fenton, Webby, Mrs Beakly, Violet, Lena, Headless Manhorse, Gyro, and possible Duckworth. Launchpad will be a bit busy in Saint Canard but canonically, Launchpad was given a subsidiary of McDuck enterprises called Quackerworks to run so it's possible he's also on the board.

My money is on the triplets and Webby, mainly because he's already mentoring them. He's already encouraging Louie to set up his own business and make his own wealth. He's more than likely already okay with Huey being knowledgable and just needs to get the boy to take risks, he can teach Dewey about being a good adventurer just by leading by example, and Webby is just incredibly utilitarian, but he'd encourage her to learn about R&D on a practical level, not a scientific one.

@@shanryder Gladstone he'll cut off. Dude can earn wealth without working for it. Scrooge may be a miser, but he values hard work. As for the rest, besides Duckworth (Who is already dead), Mrs. Beakley (Who is the house caretaker and is also viewed as a personal friend of the family) Webby (Who would also likely inherit a share of the fortune plus be appointed caretaker for the McDuck legacy and join with Dewey on adventures). Everyone else wouldn't be too affected because they're under Scrooge's Employ, not a part of his family.

@@shanryder Dude, I know what found family is BECAUSE I HAVE ONE, but that does not mean everyone I work with is a part of that family. Plus, they wouldn't be working alone, they'd still keep those under Scrooge's employ precisely because they're good at what they do and serve a purpose for the business as a whole. The triplets and Webby would work together as a team to lead McDuck Enterprises. Besides, has Scrooge actively said he considers majority of the people you mentioned family? Mrs. Beakley has been and it shows in how they act around each other, Webby was outright told it was okay to call him Uncle Scrooge, and Ducksworth was warmly welcomed back into the fold (Even if he was a ghost). Fanton, Gyro, and Manny are not considered a part of that family even though they work closely with scrooge and the rest of the family. Point is, Just because someone you get along with and who works either for or with you does not mean they are considered family. Otherwise, Scrooge would consider the Buzzards on the board of directors family, and that would be... bad.

The fact that Dewey was the name Scrooge did not say, shows that Della, Donald and Dewey share a trait Scrooge does not like. The trait that comes to mind is leaping without looking. I don't think that Donald has that trait all the time, but when his temper gets the best of him he is certainly not think about what will happen next. In the clip you show Donald said "I was in the will" show that Donald never though he was in the will and treated Scrooge accordingly. Yes Webby should be in the will if only for Scrooge to show he believe in her and all she can do (like his father did by having a man pay for a shine from Scrooge)

As interesting as this theory sounds in terms of development for the kids, I think Scrooge is gonna just plain live forever lol. But the fact that Scrooge is himself acknowledging them as successors does make you think twice. He isn't the kind of duck to just admit he'll be giving over his mantle unless he's serious.

Assuming none of the enemies had something to do with his demise...my guess would be: Magica: Really frustrated because she can't get her revenge. Glomgold: First few seconds...freaking out and having the best time of his life...a minute after that: totally devasted because his live has no more cause, and he failed to ever had the chance to become richer than scrooge...but would later brag about he did it Beaks: Would probably the one least emotionally affected...his biggest problem would be that he loses all the attention...and would probably try to portray himself as Scrooges BFF to get some of it back, posting 100 of selfies from the funeral The Beagle Boys: Sad...because I think they also really respect Scrooge....but also happy because they figure out that Donald is easier to rob. FOWL: Probably they would be genuinely happy for similar reasons as the Beagle Boys....but technically and without those plans we don't know about...they should be interested in keeping Scrooge alive and healthy...because those Vultures seem to be his advisors, and what better position could there be than controlling the biggest business empire in the world. Goldie: Cries her eyes out if nobody watches.
