Yeah a man aint gunna be that angry in bitter in life for no reason, he had his own sh*t and demons and he was one of the ones who let them get the better of him. Most assholes are just the result of a sh*tty upbringing and bad luck through out their life, a lot of the time bitter people have reasons to be bitter. I know this because I have so many in my family like it and I feel sorry for them, both my parents were like it, 2 of my siblings are like it, but I know their backgrounds and hell I get it.@@kratosofspartareal

We all knew there was a story behind Sean. He came from a tortured environment where he was exposed to cruelty, desperation, and hardships. Life threw him a curveball. Many end up being screwballs for life. It's up to Sean but he can still hit the ball out of the park. He has all the tools.

One of the great mysteries of the World. Figuring out what kind of parents/ guardians you have, if any! I am thankful for my parents and how they’ve raised us. No two parents/ guardians are the same and it’s helpful to make the most of a relationship than to have unrealistic expectations. Example: I don’t expect my dad to quit smoking and drinking and be social with family and friends going out at times, but I know that we can share some good meals at home, throw the balls with the dogs when he has a smoke to get mini social time, and listen/ support him when he’s ready to talk. It’s tough at times but I do my best to maximize the relationship with him in this one Life❤️ If one or more parents/ guardians are excessive with controlling time, energy, mental and emotional state, it’s an option to limit time together or cut ties altogether. Stand up for Your Best Life and keep what’s in alignment with good aspects of Life, discard what’s bad. 1 LUV ❤️

But, when you have an abusive parent who's an alcoholic or drug addict that is manic, depressed, and violent it actually is a relief, and can be a relief for the entire family. That's exactly how it was when my father passed. No emotion really, just relief that the hell has come to an end. It shouldn't be that hard to understand, and it's just the reality for some people unfortunately.

My dad went away since i was 8 and my brother was 5 because he and my mom got divorced, he was miserable after the divorce and had to disappear, he returned to us when i was 13 and my brother was 10, but only once a year since he had business overseas, when i enter high school he finally looked after us, made phone call, asking us how we doing, gave us money, whenever we meet he always gave us advice on life, always told me to stay in school and always prioritize our education despite his absent on most of my childhood, i'm glad he always tried his best to look after us

When i learned about his new marriage, i couldn't face him after that, it took me years to finally get used to his new wife, when i entered high school i finally try to understand him cause he was trying his best to get close to his sons, what i thought back then was, he was trying to catch up for all those years he's disappearing.

I used to hate my dad back then for the same reasons. There was nothing he would do that was normal in society. Everything is excessive. He wasnt the father that does dad things to his children like other kids get from their dad. My hatred towards him came to the point that I wished someone would kill him. Little did I know that he was hurting from inside the whole long years of being that kind of person. He didnt want to be that way but the lack of real love and affection he felt from his own parents caused him to become an extremely problematic person. By the time we reached adult age, we slowly understood his situation and we gave him every help he needed until he got to know God. From that time on, he constantly made efforts to bury his negative habits. Fast forward, as Im writing this comment, I firmly believe me and my siblings have the best dad anyone could ask for. I learned that the people that really need help the most are the bad people they just don't know how to communicate it to the people around them.

Sean Strickland it's the best example for all those pussies that blame their own parents or childhood issues for their own wrongdoings, this guy had a shitty childhood, suffered a lot and got his life in danger countless of times, but still, he didn't become what he most loathed, and even to this day (from what he's said) he tries his best to maintain his ''sanity'' and keeping himself far from surpassing some ''vital'' limits. (In general) I don't fuck with him for some general ''statements'' he made, but the fact that he strives for change and improving his own self t's something that i respect a lot, and honestly...That's the fuckin' hardest thing (even in general), to change for the better..Because for the worse, damn, that's easiest damn thing you'd ever be able to do (even easier than pissin') This guy's something rare, something that a lot of guys in similar situations should takes notes from.

Guys My brother and his wife (not a good person at all) took care of abused girls. I think it was 6 at a time. My brother did this work to pease his wife (not the point). I was a teenager and it really messed with my head to hear the stories what these little girls went through. Some were from incest and then sexual abused their parents. Some were unbelievably violent, others were preteens with crazy sex drives. Was so strange because I was in my teens dealing with my hormones and remember 2 girls attacking me in the pool. I got out and remember one pulling down my pants and the other putting her hands down my swim shorts. I could not continue in taking advantage of them, I did the right thing because I knew it was not normal. I do not look down on them, I ended up finding out just how Evil life could be for me personally. My sons just can not understand the stories I tell them. They just see my anger from my frustration that it just soo big and I and soo small. Abuse to children is awful.

I think Sean's a great guy, that must have been real tough having an active addict father in the bad state that he was in, but hopeless cases can recover with 12 step programs, I'm one of them I'm 19 years clean and sober and my oldest kid is only 5😊❤

My dad was an alcoholic and he was addicted to porn so my mother divorced him and moved out and I ended up staying with my dad during this time and it was when I was in middle school! My dad would get home from work and start drinking and eventually he would go to the bar and then he would come home with a hooker and I could hear them having sex in the basement while I was laying down in my room! I also walked in on my dad one night trying to beat my mom when they were going thru the divorce and I blindsided him and punched him in the face and he dropped to the floor and me and my mom ran to the car and stayed at my aunts house! I’m 33 now and I remember all this like it was yesterday and my dad died 5 years ago so I have a lot of anger built up inside of me!

Hey man, i can relate. But what i've come to understand is sometimes ppl just give up in life because of the pain they've had to go thru. Thats what it sounded like your father was doing. I feel like every parent knows if they'll be a good parent and role model or not, and some must know that they wont be...but society literally pressures ppl into having kids by a certain age or they are made to be looked at as outcasts or failures. That doesn't help either. If society was more accepting of the fact that having kids isnt for everyone, the world would be a better place. But just know that your dad had his struggles that made him the way that he was. Try to forgive him.

In my opinion, I disagree people can change. People can fundamentally change. Sometimes you need to be shaken up. Had a friend die of suicide he suffered from schizophrenia. Suicide never solves the problem. You only get one life.
