Mr. Smiley, my apologies. I am a graduate of the hospitality and management program. First, because you have a great rapport with the hotel for several years I would have had one of your assistants address the GM or person who knew your itinerary and had a pep talk with my team and informed them of your expectations and company professionalism. Unfortunately common sense 101 is not born into one's brain. Thank you for all you do and always being humble. Even the young lady who acknowledged his behavior should have apologized and pulled him to the side. You are a blessing just watching you .

I attempted to get a facial at a black owned business yesterday and the esthetician was late. This was my first appointment with her and she was late. I waited 10 mins and then requested a refund and left. I get so frustrated when I patron black owned businesses and the quality of service is poor. I don’t tolerate bad customer service anywhere, but when it’s us I just get so frustrated because I want greatness for our people. But, the quality of service too often is subpar and there is no reason for that. Good customer service is free! It cost nothing to be on time, be respectful, be prepared, and provide a good experience.

@@BigRedd1124, That is a great idea to lock your card when traveling, because too much is going on these days. However, I would have measures in place on my account to call my bank's automated system to lock it or speak to a representative and have it done. Rickey, you don't need to speak to the manager. You need to speak to the owner. We have open records here in Florida. Do a Google search for property appraiser search for whatever county you were in. Type in the address of the hotel and it will show you who owns the property. In most cases it will not only show you the address of the hotel but also the owners home address. The employee who disrespected you will likely be terminated by the owner. I can guarantee the owner will get rid of that employee before he loses your business. We Floridians don't do managers. We do owners. Handle your business!

Frat you know you telling the truth! There is an accountability issue in our black community. Don't want anyone telling us anything. Even if it'sgood & helpful info. It will make you just want to avoid our people altogether. Eye too comfortable, familiar with each other. We give other groups of people more RESPECT then we give pur own. Ans we wonder why people move away when we move in. Thanks for having the courage & integrity to speak on this bruh. We needed to hear it.

I agree with you Rickey, people have no manners and think you owe them the respect when they don’t even have respect. People’s morales and values are messed up. I’m shocked whenever someone says ‘thank you” or “excuse me” these words are barely ever used anymore.

Thank you for the video. This new age of entitlement is going too far. You cant teach, tell, or dissagree with them. I deal mostly with Blacks, because this is who I identify with. Just as this generation feel as if they are in control of their and my life at the same time, we have to TEACH them and others to respect who and what I stand for as a Black 60ish women. Keep it up Ricky, we have a place in life also because we were, we are and will continue to be. Much love to you.

I really appreciate this video to the fullest. I am originally from Birmingham by the way of Southtown. I live in Cleveland and have NEVER gotten use to the lack of home training, disrepect and total disregard for basic etiquette. IF you speak to a random person, the question becomes do I know you? If you speak to a man, they think you're interested. I will NEVER accept this way of thinking as normal behavior. I have scaled back on giving also because a simple Thank you doesn't even cross their mind let alone their lips. Thanks again. I00% agree with you. Stay Blessed
