I am as poor as a church mouse but I love watching your videos. I cannot bid on the pieces but I console myself by saying I would probably break them anyway. Love your videos.

I like the cat sprinkler. We always used a Pepsi bottle. One day a week, we washed clothes all day and ironed the next 3 days or so. There were 11 of us, so there was always ironing to do. Great video! Thank you!

I'm selling that same Rolling Stones shirt! Mine, unfortunately, is well worn. But I thought a single stitch Stones tour shirt should do well (eventually). Thanks for the background of that tour. I think I'll have to update my posting and see if that helps. Love your info and videos!

Penguins up over $200 as of this comment. Very cool modern pieces you are finding. Philippe Starck also designed for Alessi.

Good content. I'm 99.99% BIN on ebay, however I know several sellers who do the 99 cent auction and list 30-40 items a week. Works for them but they have been doing it for years and have a strong following. Thanks for sharing this.

Love the Pendleton coat! Too bad it’s not my size. ☹️ I have a lap quilt I made from thrifted Pendleton clothes that I deconstructed and felted. Wonderful for cold days.

Pendleton herringbone tweed coat...hope it does well. I'm allergic to wool, but there are lots of collectors. Just FYI - women's clothing sizes have changed over the years, so a size 8 in the 70s isn't an 8 now. As for band Ts, not all of them go for real money. I gifted some "oh wells" to my niece. NB to anyone selling items with the original box, DON"T use it as the shipping container. (talk about a fuss and SNAD in the making...eek) The Lionel set looks like a reproduction of a Standard Gauge set. The shiny box tells me it's pretty recent.

The old Jewish, and Italian ladies would swig some water and force a spray through their teeth to make a fine spray on the men's shirts to help with ironing.

That Pendleton coat... 👌 Right up my alley! I wish I could try it on. A beautiful find George. The info on the brand was wonderful. I did not know it was based on Native American style but it makes sense now. Thank you for that ! 🐩♥️

You and me both! They apparently made to what they saw in the trading posts and also integrated the "points" system of weaving instituted by the Hudson's Bay Co. blankets of the 1600s

My mother wore Pendleton. When I was young, I wasn't thrilled with the plaid look, but once I grew up, shopped with my mother for wool suits, Mom sold me on the value of Pendleton and I wore it proudly. Love that coat you showed in this video. I didn't realize that Pendleton also made that particular pattern.

Controversial items? I have two mugs with the image Andrew Jackson wearing sunglasses. They’re really cool mugs and I thought they’d make a good sale when I bought them. Of course, he was a slaveholder and not exactly an “abolitionist.” Around the time I was getting ready to list them. I decided to look him up and re-familiarize myself with his history. Well, he was absolutely awful and worse than I recall. It wasn’t that he was a slaveholder, George Washington was a slaveholder but said to grow uncomfortable with owning slaves and later in his adult life, ended this very common practice of wealthy southern landholders back in the day (Martha continued to use slaves until her death.) No, the problem is that Jackson was an enthusiastic slaveholder who never willingly gave his slaves up and historical documentation shows that he was cruel to many of the slaves he had and also directed Native Americans to be run off their lands. So who would buy these mugs? History buffs or people who admireJackson for his racist ways?
