Hello sir, I am aware that my reply is coming out of the blue, but I am a 17 year old male living in Manahawkin, New Jersey. I want to somehow join the K.o.C. due to you guys not only being a beacon of light during these dark times, but also because I want to be able to give back to my community. If you could provide me with any information on how to join the Knights here in New Jersey it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Degrees and initiation remind me of the Masons. You don't need degrees or initiation rituals to do good. I'll remain simply a faithful Catholic, not an insurance salesman.

Now adays u can attend an online ceremony and become a 3rd degree night in a 1hr course. It's not hard. KofC is a great organization to join.

What it reminds you of has nothing to do with what it is. Being scared of what you don't understand is the worst kind of fear..

I’m a 4th Degree and I am leaving the Knights. The new way of doing things in terms of the degrees and initiation is just one of many. They have, like so many things in society, have made the whole thing cheap. Good luck

The 4th degree uniform change has really effected the Church in a negative way because we are not a paramilitary unit.
@lancevaughn5337 Жыл бұрын
@@gloriawilson3241 Church history has a lot of paramilitary actions and involvement by the church, but I hear what you are saying. It’s an over priced and ridiculous outfit. I’m a Veteran and hold the opinion that if you want to look paramilitary, then you should have had the courage to have actually served in the military. Doesn’t matter, it’s a financial services/insurance company hiding behind the cloak of the church. The whole thing is corrupt.

I always wondered why 3rd degree members who are veterans have to go through a so called “patriotic” degree. Haven’t we already proven our patriotism! I’m out after this year is over. Too much silliness.

@@tamednoise3647 I agree. You should look into the annual salary of the Supreme Knight. Unbelievable!!!!!

No wont in this generation of the 21st centru everyone since covid has decided to abuse authority in the church and become an egotistical villian i have had my sare of bad experiences in the knights organization. Enough is enough no more

may have just been your council. just because that was a bad experience does not mean all are bad. I have witnessed my dad have a complete trans4mation in a positive way and more truly finding God
