As a city fan I would sell Ferran Torres and Romeo and make Frankie De Jong get a pay cut. He is the highest paid player in Laliga and he averages 5 assists a season.

@@grettfc No he is not. It is his deferred payment from Barto's era. Agreed he can take a pay cut but look at the criticism and you can clearly see they treat him as an outsider then why would he do a favor for us. It hurts me to say this but the best option is to sell Frenkie.

We just signed Mamadou Fall… we are so stacked with CB’s. I’d say sell Eric Garcia and Iñigo. Our options for CB would be Araujo, Cubarsi, Christensen, Faye and Fall. Kounde could also play there when needed. As for midfielders, we should sell Romeu. We need everyone else in the midfield. And the forwards we should sell are Ferran and Roque. Yes I know a lot of y’all overhype Roque and want to see him succeed at Barca but the truth is that he’s just not good enough and we’ve spent way too much on him. With the money we gain from those sales, we need to use it all on a CDM. I literally have no clue why we are going after Olmo. His signing is not necessary at all, Laporta just wants to bring him in so us fans can feel confident about competing against Real Madrid and Mbappe. Also if we end up keeping Joao Cancelo then there is no need for Julian Araujo, we could sell him for around 6+mil.

@@yo_seb5195 he won’t get that much playtime, Barca purchased him to be the replacement off Mika Faye at Barca athletic, cause Faye will probably be promoted to the first team or get sold. He is a center back and that position is fully loaded in the first team. You have Cubarsi, kounde, Faye, araujo, Christensen, inigo martinez, Eric Garcia, and lenglet. We have already 8 center backs at our disposal. Where would u see him have playtime for the first team. And even if lenglet and inigo are sold, there are already 6 other centerbacks. Please think before you speak. You call me a bozo, but you are the one acting like a fool on the internet, talking big to a stranger. Do you feel better after insulting someone?

He will only play if there is an emergency and all of our backups are injured. But that won’t be happening with our new fysio’s and management. If he would get playtime or chances to play for the first team. He would’ve been called up for the USA tour. But that did not happen. I’ve been a Barca fan for more than 20 years. I know how the club handles things and mbacke playing for the first team won’t be happening until next preseason tour or emergencies

It’s laughable to me how overpaid these players are in modern football and it explains why these top clubs struggle to offload them. After Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid where he took a massive pay cut and is still earning a lot of money, Frenkie De Jong is the highest paid player in La Liga and a 35 year old Robert Lewandowksi is 2nd behind him. Barcelona needs to get rid of both of them in that regard because you’re paying a lot of money on 2 players whose performances on the pitch don’t justify the wages that they’re on. For de Jong and Lewandowski it’s great that they’re making a lot of money, still any Barcelona fan won’t be happy that their 2 players are among the highest earners in the league. To fund for Nico Williams and Dani Olmo where you can actually pay their salaries and register them for next season; I’m getting rid of all the highest earned players and maybe send them to Saudi where they’ll make that oil money and learn Arabic. 😂😂😂😂😂.
