This video was too long. Halfway through it, I got hungry so I left it playing and went to the kitchen to fix myself a sandwich. But then I found out that I'm out of mayonnaise so I went to a store. There, I saw the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my whole life. But I'm a really shy person so I took up a three-year personality development course so I could introduce myself. She was very friendly and all, but unfortunately, she had a boyfriend. So I said, all good, I'm a mature person. I wanted the best for her and I harbored no illusion that I am the best person for her and she seems happy with her boyfriend, so I did not bother her anymore. But we kept in touch and we became friends and I got over my crush on her. Then she broke up with her boyfriend, we drank some alcohol because of it. I told her she'll be fine and I wished her well. I still think she's the most beautiful woman in the world, but like I said, I am over my crush on her. It was like five years already since I first saw her. Besides, I am quiet happy with the friendship I developed with her. It was more important than a crush. So we kept hanging out, drinking, having coffee, and all. I had a girlfriend, she started dating other guys. My girlfriend wanted to live some other life without me in it, so I said, "Okay, I want the best for you and I want you to pursue your happiness." My lady friend and I drank alcohol about it, and she gave me the same advice I gave her when she was in that position and I became okay with the breakup immediately. But we were really drunk, so she spent the night in my apartment. I only have one bed, so you know what that means: She took the bed and I slept on the couch. But on the couch, I really can't sleep. Something was bothering me. So I tossed and turned for about three hours, then I finally couldn''t take it anymore, I stood up and went straight to my room where she's sleeping. I approached the bed, gently sat on it and I reached for her shoulder to pull her closer to me. She stirred and woke up. She asked what's up. I told her, "you know, the first time I saw you, I was watching a video and left it playing to get myself a sandwich then went to the store to get some mayo then I got so distracted by life that I forgot to finish the video." She said, "You know what, I've been wondering about a weird noise in your night drawer." So we opened that drawer, and lo and behold, there's my phone and this video still has two minutes of play time on it.

Has a sizeable chance to 1HKO Starmie and Slowbro. - 2HKOs Zapdos, Exeggutor, Tauros, Lapras, Articuno, Jolteon, Jynx, and Alakazam 100% of the time. Has a sizeable chance to 2HKO Hypno and Gengar. - Guaranteed 3HKO on Chansey with Body Slam. - Strongest Special move in the game, Articuno's Blizzard, is a possible 7HKO. As someone that never heard of BKC until today, I feel like I can relate to his passionately odd and off-the-cuff manner of storytelling. Being in constant battle with scattered thoughts from a mind inherited by schizophrenic parents is a daily struggle. Having multiple trains of thought running all at once and trying to hold onto a single one without losing it has been made painfully clear from conversations with peers. Just trying to type these thoughts into comprehensive sentences was hellishly difficult.

One interesting thing about Gen 2 specifically (along with the Belly Drum failure quirk I didn't know), is that moves with an increased critical hit ratio have a +2 crit rate instead of +1 (according to Bulb). This means that Machamp's Cross Chop always has a 25% to OHKO Lax, even through Curse boosts (or apparently Defense Curls) which is pretty nifty. Obviously it's not worth relying on, but it's definitely noteworthy imo and can be boosted to a 33% chance with Scope Lens.

My favorite version of snorlax is stockpile, rest, belly drum, and whatever attack you feel like covers your team the best... granted idk if stockpile was even a move in gen 2 but its a very effective moveset for this classic badass pokemon and the best part I feel is it always seems to be a snorlax set that catches the opposition off guard.. stockpile stockpile rest wake up to a chesto berry then he's an 8hko normally one more stockpile for fun 12hko. An unbreakable wall

Stockpile wasn’t introduced until Gen 3, and Snorlax couldn’t even get it until Gen 4

Love the vid BKC. How do you separate the difference between a great Pokemon that necessitates team composition, and an overpowering one that does the same thing?

Great question, don't mind me I'm just commenting to get notified with the answer

I think this is a really good question, but I just want to clarify what exactly you mean - are you asking what would make a pokemon you are required to check too much for a tier to handle?

Every time I think of GSC Snorlax I just toss my mind in so many different directions, because just looking at it makes me think Lax is so ban worthy, as its way too centralizing to the point where you are guaranteed to face one in any serious game, yet the general playerbase keeps it and the meta can hang with it. Sometimes I really just think how would the meta shift if Lax were to be banned, since Im no GSC expert really, all I know is that mons that are used solely because of Lax, like Skarm and Growltank and Charmbreon are going to see a major drop in usage, but as for rises its really hard to think, but general thoughts are strong sp.atkers like the Electrics

Without Snorlax the electrics completely take over because of Hidden Power Water.

If lax were to have been banned, Raikou and Zapdos would have to be too since Snorlax was their only counter. Because of hidden power water, they could easily beat rock and ground types and with their high special attack, HP will always OHKO a pokemon like Rydon or low SP def ground type like Marowak.

Snorlax makes special attackers have to tread lightly. Without Lax to stop them, Zapdos and Raikou reign supreme, and the only mon that could take them somewhat consistently would be Blissey; It wouldn't be as centralized, but it'd be more rock-paper-Scizors than the complicated web of 'Which set is this?" and the ensuing chaos.

Any tips on optimal movesets for using snorlax on a pokemon stadium 2 team (like for beating round 2 poke/prime cup)?

Can't you swap to pursuit t-tar on gengar/misdrevious, and not need ghost coverage?

The movepools in GSC are atrocious for a lot of Mons. They made moves like Megahorn but forgot that any other Bug type exists so they just left it at that and Fury Cutter. Gligar didn't get a single Ground move til an event. Yanma is just unspeakable and if Forretress didn't have Spikes and Rapid Spin it'd be a joke because holy shit it uses special attacks and HP Ghost. The devs didn't do shit for the majority of the Mons. So when Cross Chop is the only Fighting move and it's on I think two Pokemon it ends up boosting Snorlax even more than it already was

Is there a good video or article on why Snorlax is allowed in OU? You made some comments near the end about how it's been proven to be more balanced with the current Uber list, but how was that proven?
@BKCplaysPokemon4 жыл бұрын
there have been several non-snorlax tournaments held and pretty much all of them were massive stallfests because there's no other way to safely handle the legendary electrics. stall is very good in a lax gsc of course but lax also threatens stall and makes offense not just viable, but also very good. without lax, it really is just a stallfest, which didn't make for a very healthy meta.
