The best example of this is the 2012 Ferrari at Malaysia. Alonso qualified low (I think it was 8th) but in the rain it was amazing. But as the conditions dried the track, the pace disadvantage was apparent as the Sauber was even faster. But Alono managed to keep the lead and win it.

Interesting how you mention grooved tyres having less of a grip coefficient. The FIA introduced grooved slicks to F1 in 1998 to reduce speeds but in the end, teams used aerodynamics to get faster still. They were phased out in 2009.

Good question. My Honda Civic had 3 of them on the front subframe and I removed them years ago for free weight reduction and haven't noticed any undesirable effects. They were likely designed to cancel out some noise or vibration the vehicle creates in stock form. But with my stiff coilovers, polyurethane engine mounts, and Flowmaster muffler, I think the overall noise and vibration level is too high to notice. I would be interested to see what differences I would have noticed with everything stock, if any.
@averyalexander23032 жыл бұрын
@@housesports000I think you are right. I doubt that Honda would have spent the money adding probably 10+ pounds of NVH control devices if it didn't make enough of a difference for the average consumer to notice, but who knows. Car manufacturers are stupid sometimes.

Meanwhile you create an app and format the lessons given from an instructor and progression of your driver. You start with drifting then time attack, drag etc. slowly working your way to get them to pay for you to learn F1. THAT WOULD BE SICK!
