Thanks Rick! This topic takes us all back to our private pilot and primary training days! I can’t tell you how many times these five have tried to seep into my flying. As a commercial pilot, there are many more outside pressures from the flight department, operations people, peer pilots, and even clients that challenge personal minimums and go-no-go decisions. You can find yourself in terrible situations if you are not clear on where you stand regarding the five hazardous attitudes and personal minimums. I say over and over - “Every takeoff is optional, but every landing is unavoidable”.
