Not sure his theory works anatomically. If he was pierced on the right side, the spear would have had to go through the liver first to get to the heart. It would be hard to see the water for all the blood, whereas on the left side, it would have pierced the pericardium of the heart, explaining the water that came out with the blood.

He exegetic symbolism with Adam and eve went to a heretical false teaching though not aware and intended. He should have rather said we are helpers in terms of being co partners in preaching the Gospel to the lost and the doctrine of Christ in obedience to Him as the Head of His bride, the church.
