There are ways to perform on a dance team/drill team without being nasty and provocative. It's all a matter of what the adults in charge do or don't let the girls do. I was a cheerleader in high school. I promise you we did not do those kinds of nasty moves; the coach wasn't having it. We were a black high school, we had soul and rhythm and lot of well chroreographed moves, but we did not move in ways that were inappropriate for girls. No girls should be doing those kinds of dance moves, whether in church or outside of church. They look like their choreographer sat down and watched a marathon of hip hop videos, and took the nastiest moves they could find. This is disgusting.

It is not the dance team's fault but the Pastor and church leadership. The Pastor invited this carnality into the church that he is responsible for protecting. He said that they had not seen the performance. I am sure that these girls did not do anything so drastically different than what they normally do.
