Dude... I got severe depression a couple years ago when I TRULY realized what "One day I'm gonna die" entailed. To this day, I still get shivers through my entire body when thinking about it. It has lead to many panic attacks. I honestly kinda wish I never ended up grasping that concept.
@cronkb11 ай бұрын
i never went into depression for it, but i definitely do catch myself thinking about it wayyy too much sometimes. literally having to be like “chill out” i still have like 50-60 years. however, tomorrow isn’t promised so we just have to live our lives to the fullest honestly. which in turn makes you think about what is after this life? will you go to heaven? will there be nothing? will you be reincarnated? honestly, no point in thinking to hard because nobody knows. what happens will happen. again, just have to live this life like it’s your only one.

The craziest thing about falling into a black hole is that anyone watching you would see you approaching it, then right when you hit the border, you’d appear to stop moving, then you’d appear more and more red until you fade away, but for you, you would keep going, and if it’s a big black hole, you can be fine for hours after entering the black hole, but potentially thousands of years outside the black hole would be passing every second for you, so you could potentially watch the universe end before you die if you fall into a black hole

That sounds insane. Imagine getting stuck in a black hole for a near infinite amount of years. Your. Just sitting there. Doing nothing waiting for death and the universe explodes before you die. I am a linguistics major and the language rant was awesome, there is a part of your brain that is preprogrammed to pick up the laws of the language you are born into( a different part learns all subsequent languages) from hearing it and trying to use it. That same part works with sign language so if you can't hear or speak you will still learn sign language without needing to formally understand the rules by just seeing it used and trying to use it urself
@rafaelventura774911 ай бұрын
When he said “one day I won’t exist.” And then there’s people that understand that “one day you won’t exist”. I feel this. Ever since my buddy passed away and my grandpa I think about how one day I won’t exist or one day I could just suddenly die and not exist. The thoughts crazy. I get over it though by remebering that if you don’t exist and don’t have conscious nothing matters and you can’t feel sad or mad or anything your just gone. Just enjoy life while you can 😊.

I'd like to think of my self as a minor scholar in "the arts of common sense and practical" but when it comes to death I don't know if I'm desensitized due to growing up ( and still am) with so much tragedy or if it's the medicine I used to take that would suppress most emotions with benefit of focusing in class ( It didn't really work). (Getting back on topic) But when it comes to death, I'd like to think that I understand that I one day will die and am ok with it but as I grow up and meet more people more things the more I don't wish to leave nor am I ready for whenever that time comes and I believe I fear death despite my insistence that I only fear what I won't be able to accomplish In this life. But then again I'm fourteen so I should try focusing a little bit more on the now rather than the future, but all I have is to look towards the future no matter how unknown it is. If you did thank you for reading!
