I'm an Orthodox and I do not understand why we don't sit. We just stand or kneel. Sometimes my feet begin to hurt. But that is not a reason to not go to church. I am grateful that God made me a Christian.

Whoa, that was awesome. Attending my first mass a couple of things were quite different from a Baptist service, the stand sit kneel was definitely one of them. Father Brice that was well and powerfully explained. Thank you

Excellent video Father! As a Cajun Catholic born in St. Charles Parish, I was told that the reason we sit, stand and kneel was to get the change to the bottom of our pockets and the larger bills to ascend before the offering!!!!! LOL!!!!

Saint Patrick’s Day I went to Mass for the first time to see a baby get baptized, The service got me so Confused!!! Everyone started saying words, And there were Father/Son/Holy Spirit signs! Then in the middle of mass, I saw 90% of the people KNEELING! I was like, woah what’s going on, And in communion, Which I couldn’t do, All the Catholics BOWED at Communion, and the Priest gave the food/drink to the people, Then later, everyone got back to Sitting, But after mass, We all saw a video about a Catholic Church, IT WAS THE LONGEST MASS I HAVE EVER WENT TO IN MY LIFE! kneeling sucks! so glad im no longer catholic and no longer brainwashed having to go to mass every week and stuck in catholic school for 8 years with no air conditioning and a power hungry prinicpal who always made me feel like crap about myself

Based on my own experience, it does not matter that much whether you go to a catholic, orthodox, or evangelical church. All that matters is finding a group of people who share your passion for Christ and the teachings of Jesus Christ. I used to go to a catholic church in a different country. The service was very energetic and we discussed our concerns and the priest spoke very eloquently. The classes that I took at that teacher helped me understand the metaphors of the new testament and become closer to GOD. However, when I came to the US, I was shocked that about half or more of the mass is singing and music. The priest did not speak of the social diseases and problems that we are facing. I think they are afraid because many Catholics who go to church in the US live sinful life (gay marriage,sex out of wedlock, and killing people overseas when on army duty). Therefore, I started going to an Orthodox church that spoke and defended the teachings of Jesus unapologetically.

Lez Wagner In Philippians 2:10 “ at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. Your will be done instead of God’s will is Satanic. As a matter of fact that is one of the commandments in the Satanic bible. You should watch Mother Angelica. She has helped me to know my Catholic faith and the more I learn it the more I love it!
