@ForAllLifesAdventures I remember one time I was about eight, and I was with my mum as we were walking up to the high-rise flats across from the supermarket. My mum wanted to see her friend, and she left me at a little playground near the flats. A few minutes after my mum left me, this kid came up and said: "Who are you? You don't come from here" and battered me over the head with a brick. I was screaming with blood pouring down my face, and a short while later, my mum came back. She bundled me on a bus up to the Western Infirmary, but I was fortunate that after an X-ray, the doctor said I was relatively unharmed. She could be a rough place if you were a male in the wrong place. Another one, which looking back was quite funny in hindsight, " was when I went out around the tenement for Halloween with my mate when a big kid dressed as a ghost( completely covered in a white sheet) came up and whalloped me over the head with a broom and stole all my sweets. Looking back, some of those kids were psychos, I think. LOL.

It was never about the money for me - in fact, I donate it all to to charity, for what it is - there is a lovely charity here that supports disabled and underprivileged children by allowing them to look after/ride horse...
