As someone with difficulty focusing on boring tasks like studying, I've pretty much never strived to do anything along the lines of "I have to study for x amount of hours." If I'm studying I'm getting in and out of there quickly(if I study at all). I never really pieced it together deliberately, but it really does make sense to just work until the work is done, not work until the timer is done. I have always approached basically anything including the little studying I do this way but it's nice to know other people agree with this mindset, it's oddly motivating. This video is extremely true. I usually study properly and focus on my work instead of studying for hours Studying for hours does not always mean that u study more better. Instead you can do the work that u were supposed to do in an hour or 30 mins or just less, dont push urself to do more qnd more. Time is a very precious thing that u should take care of. And by studying inefficiently and losing focus rhat study session is worth nothing.

I absolutely loved watching this video! I first watched it three weeks ago when you uploaded it, and now I find myself back here, compelled to say how much I deeply relate to and wholeheartedly agree with every point you made. Your insights really resonated with me on a personal level. I remember preparing for a pure mathematics exam under extremely tight circumstances. In the entire semester, I hadn’t even managed to study the chapter properly. Yet, just before the exam, I studied for barely 30 minutes-and I still managed to secure an A. That experience reinforced my belief in the power of pressure to amplify efficiency. When you’re under the gun with almost no time to spare, there’s no room for procrastination or wasted moments. You simply dive straight in, laser-focused and fully locked in on the task at hand. Every second counts, and the urgency forces you to channel all your energy and concentration into productive action. It’s remarkable how much the human mind can accomplish under such circumstances! Thank you for articulating these ideas so well in your video-it’s refreshing to know others experience this too!

I've been dealing with stress for years. All throughout highschool I would spend hours at a time doing my very best to memorize everything. I had it different then most kids, would have less free time because of my study habits, and this has also hurt me as a content creator. This semester, as a Sophomore in colllege, my anxiety and stress levels were so high that I had to do the rest of my semester online. Things are improving on my end. While I'm on an extension to get my Cost Accounting class done, I decided to try your method after watching this video. Doing this and just reading through everything once or twice helps me so much more than what I have been doing the past 5 years. Thank you for helping me find a way to reduce so much stress while I am studying! My college life will hopefully start to get easier, and I can actually have some free time for once. Perhaps I will score better on my exams too, which are usually worth 75% worth of my class grade in my major classes.

This was really true and it will worked very well, and also i had a pro tip to those want to study as efficient and as much as possible, without having too much information trying to remember. "Try to study only the main parts of a lesson rather than the entirety of it" Like: + Keywords + Formulas (including how they work) + Critical words that are connected to the keyword (Ex: 'Restore' - to "retain" information) (The critical word here is "retain") I use this a lot of times because i easily forgot things ,so that's why i find a way to store as little information, while the important details can be able to retain in my mind at the same time. I hope you understand and works for you, goodluck!!! 💙✨

Me personally I agree with what you said. Stress really got to me during my math exams. I studied for 5 hours every day but it wasn't as consistent and I was seen procrastinating most of the time. I time gated my work but seemed to be stressed about completing that work within the timeframe that I couldn't focus on the work. In the end I managed to complete everything before the exam but I was still nervous and stressed. I was reminding myself all the hard work and time I spent studying and that I needed to do good but in the end I made silly mistakes, I forgot the most basic things in my maths and I couldn't solve a math problem. When I came home I wasn't as distraught but I kept thinking about that problem and managed to solve it in my head. Well mistakes pave the way for success, now I can better prepare and prepare properly next time for my exams.

as someone that hates math, and never studied for math once while getting an A, (41/50) watching this video actually made me realize how shocking it is the fact that I didn't study. But when I look back through it if it was possible, I did study all along, I just didn't realize it. It's the fact that I had a math tuition for 30 minutes a week, that was how I achieved getting something I never thought I would. (Getting A) It's the fact that it slowly came into my brain without me noticing. So, if your reading this, understand this : TUITION > STUDYING BY YOUR OWN. I really agreed with your point of view on "Studying less" However, I don't really think "Studying more" is bad if you do it wisely. Here is when "Studying more" is worth it 1. You do have REALLY MUCH amount of work. Remember the key is REALLY MUCH 2. You do not have studying consequences on test day (stress, exhaustion,...). I know this one is hard but I can guarantee ones who is able to do this can actually utilize "Studying more" 3. You studied with a plan that is proper and actually requires a long studying time.

The important thing about studying about my experience that if you give more concentration to the study then you will automatically learn that chapter❤

Im glad I found this video because I heavily relate to this and I it's exactly what i needed to hear! (There is my personal experience it a bit long tho) I screwed myself over when starting high school by setting an unrealistic goal of becoming valedictorian, which led to me getting burned-out within 3 months. While I did get A's at first, I didn’t account for my schedule, life outside school, or my own laziness. My grades ended up dropping to an F average, and I felt like giving up. Thankfully, my family encouraged me to keep going and at least graduate. I changed my study habits, set realistic goals, and started improving. This new mindset has helped me, and I plan to stick with it throughout high school and my life in general. (Tl;dr : Burned out after aiming too high in high school, I adjusted my goals, improved my study habits, and found a mindset that keeps me motivated.)

This philosophy goes for everything in life. Whether exercising or making money, less is sometimes more, given if a respectable amount is effort is being put into the allocated time.
