I believe it is abnormal because you fall in love with your children and a child having that connection with a mother is so special you as a partner want to make it work for the sake of the child. I always felt competition to be better than what I was due to the lack of my mother not wanting to do anything in life except to take from what I earned all the time.

I think people underestimate how many narcissists are out there now and often don't realize they were brought up by a narcissist and have suffered a fair level of psychological abuse as they grew up.

Then at the age of 38 I came down with COPD told I had six months to live at two months I was dying I prayed I couldn't breathe an angel stood at the foot of my bed it was a wonderful experience I was saved now I see death as the end of suffering so I no longer fear it

Instead of being jealous of Sarandon & the sons’ close relationship, Robbins should’ve been thankful that his sons’ had it better than he did & give himself credit for choosing someone who was a great mother to have children with. If he couldn’t do that & let the stuff go, he should’ve taken the issues to therapy. I’m not one to be obsessed with celebrities, etc., but I still think it’s sad that they broke up. They seemed like a great match, & it’s sad for the children, especially the daughter who had already lived through the breakup with her father.
