It was Tommie Smith and John Carlos with the Black Power salute and that at the 68 Olympics in Mexico City.

I was in Tokyo during the 2020 Olympics (held in 2021) and you couldnt tell there was the Olympic there (because of Covid). The city was quieter than ever! With no oversea visitors and empty stands, it felt like those games were a wasted opportunity.
