A little about me. I have been the manager at Infiniti of Kirkland since 2004 and prior to that I ran a high end car boutique in neighboring Bellevue, Washington. For my career I have sold over 10,000 cars so I hope to bring you far more insight than you might ever know to even ask. I show you in some videos how to see if a car has been in an accident, how to make a great buy on a car with a bad Carfax, or why I wouldn't personally buy a car even if it has favorable reviews. Just a heads up, "combined HP/torque" is a misnomer; HP is calculated in part by torque. It's like adding up a quantity of tomatoes and a quantity of needs needed to grow those tomatoes... it's not really a number that has any true value.

@@Drae2g2 They're essentially identical, mechanically... the "Q70" is actually IDENTICAL to the (2011-2013) "M37" for the 2014 model year, and for the 2015-2019's they have a different front end and tail lights. The M56 is the car to buy!

Not dirt cheap but fair. If you got a 2019 Q70 with the same miles it would have cost you another $8-10K, and that too would be just as good a deal. It can last you EASILY another 10 years if you take good care of it. (garage it, drive it like a normal human being, regular oil changes, air filters, fluids)

I've never understood why there wasn't a "total power value" that featured all dynamic capacities into a single value. Breaking out horsepower and torque individually without factoring in dynamic limitations s pretty archaic by modern standards.

@@everycarSeattle ...but horsepower is a function of torque. Adding the two makes zero sense. I understand what you're saying about having a large difference between the two meaning different things. But with your method, a vehicle with 200hp and 380lb-ft would appear to have the same power characteristics as an engine with 330hp and 250lb-ft. Thinking about getting one of these M37's. Seems like a more reliable BMW 535 with arguably better styling (I think so).
