Love love David Platt!! Always in tears when he talks about the lost world. A soul who cries for them day and night! May God bless him!! Check out his sermons at Maclean Bible Church, you would never live the same life.

I’ve always been told if you have college debt you aren’t fit for missions..sad because I strived you go to college to learn more about God despite not having the finances..only to be told the very institution that helped fuel my desire for sharing the gospel is the same institution that somewhat put a limit on what I could do financially. Are there organizations that help with college debt for those wanting to serve? Honestly I’d love to go to seminary but money is still an issue

I like the facts laid in the sermon. However, Why specifying "unreached people in Africa," what about the unreached Americans, where do they go?

Back when David Platt was legit, but has now compromised like Matt Chandler. This was a good sermon 👏.

I like most of your video, just found your channel last week. You have a good line up of preachers but I’m just not sure why Matt Chandler is up there? Kind of seems out of place in my opinion. I’ve seen a lot of not so good sermons from him. He likes to choose the entertainment side over the preaching side.

Most Christian hate the truth , Calvinism is the true teachings of the word of God .

The sad thing is most of what I see from Reformed missions is a refusal to share the true Gospel until those they were supposedly called to prove their regeneration and worth by their works to hear the gospel. It is grievous!!

That is called hyper calvanist and just point them to the great commission and say if Christ told you to teach them then do that, we don't know God ways for the hidden things are His but He tells us to teach so go and do it.

Tim blessings from Mexico, I like the edition and your idea with these vlogs. But I noticed that it appers you are into a selective group most of them proud Calvinist preachers (I say this using their own words). I was once one follower of them but the true is that they have many great teachings to learn from but they cause division and segregation from the whole church thinking that they are the only ones right or with a Sound doctrine, they are often disrespecting Pentecost, Chrismatic or others. There are great man of God with good teology you could use Ravi, Charles Stanley, Andy Stanley, Rick Warren, Francis Chan and many others from Dallas Teological Semenary or I would like you to talk about Watchman Nee’s writings or Oswald Chambers etc.

Sound theology divides. (1 Co. 11: 18,19). You mentioned Rick Warren. You know he’s a false teacher, right? Have some discernment, please. Ask God for it!
@ChriskTamayo6 жыл бұрын
@@adansalazar3291 I've been studying sistematic theology for more than five years. And I do hear that Rick Warren has being acussed of being a false teacher but I even though most of my teachers are calvinist (reformed) I have asked and they don't see nothing wrong. John Piper said that he (Rick) was the world's leading pastor along with Francis Chan also Tim has an amazing feedback on his books (written form). Warren's academic preparation is exhaustive. I am not drag by KZbin comments or videos to make my judgement who is or who isn't a good teacher but by the Scriptures. Adan God blesses you and if you have the opportunity to study church history you will see that Spourgeon, Whitefield, Murray and even the apostles were called false teachers.
@adansalazar32916 жыл бұрын
Chris Tamayo I love to study Church history from the apostolic era until today. I absolutely agree with you that sound doctrine teachers were called “false” teachers by the actual false teachers. All the apostles were accused of that. I really hope we both are taking about a different “Rick Warren” because the autor of “ Life Driven purpose” is a false teacher, Kissing and holding hands with homosexuals to demonstrate “love”, being a “celebrity” with the unbelievers and most important, sharing a different gospel which according to scripture, he is an anathema. (Galatians 1:6-8). Also, I have to agree that some “arminians” are actual brothers. I just recommend to you to be very careful. Unfortunately, heresy and error it’s on every corner and we most be alert at all times. Cheers.

@@adansalazar3291 well I am talking about the very same person I do know the events you are talking about with Elton John. I could respond but I think that you are a disciple of God and seek God's Glory you don't need to listen to RW stick to the Scriptures and other authors you do like and give you peace. As Mark 9 says we are for one another, keep on with the work that God has given you.

Platt's premise, "A high view of God's sovereignty fuels the death defying devotion to global missions," sounds different than what drove the apostles to global missions, "For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified," 1 Cor. 2:2 The message of the Gospel drives the mission to spread the Gospel.

Platt lost my trust after his completely-off-the-mark “white privilege” exhortation at this year’s T4G. He basically sat up there and called us all racists who need to repent of our racism. Nice to meet you, too, David.

Sure, Platt says some stuff about sovereignty and missions, like every other Calvinist today. But he also lectured us on how black women dying during childbirth is proof of systemic racism. Platt isn't the wonderboy the SBC makes him out to be. He's got degrees, sure, but lacks either the intelligence or integrity to *not* call people racist without warrant.

OK, I will modify my jungle missions from "God loves you and desires you to repent of your sins and receive Jesus." TO "God has sovereignly chosen some of you to go to heaven and some of you to hell. God is using me as the "means" for you in the audience that are the "elect." As for the rest of you, you are damned since the beginning of time and there is nothing you can do about it." Have a nice day.

Calvinism's deterministic mechanical "sovereignty" is not a biblical doctrine. Its the product of Augustinian error who couldn't read Greek, unlike the early Church fathers who unanimously rejected determinism and denials of human free will.
