Can you create multiple loops (ie. verse, chorus, bridge) and change them on the fly with one of the pedals?

@@Aaron-xm9qk Hi, you can make switches work like individual pedal. Assign pedals ex. 1 drive, 2 delay, 3 Reverb. Or the default is each bank number has ABCD. so can A clean, B clean with overdrive and effects. As you play you can foot switch between ABCD seamlessly, no pop or noise when switching. Hope that helps.

If you update to the latest firmware, you will also get the artist presets in the regular gp200.

I had to do the Factory Patch reset - it used to just update through patch 25D - now it goes to 32D and includes the artist patches. Firmware V1.6.3

I'm a beginner and I bought the Spark 40 when it first came out as I liked the videos but last year after watching the original review of the Valeton GP-200 from Anderton's, I went out and bought the GP-200. I haven't delved too much into the presets but I much prefer this to the Spark. I run my iPad into the unit along with my guitar and then I connect the GP-200 to an amp so I can play along to videos on KZbin as well as instruction videos. Love this unit and would have to say that I find it much easier to use than the Spark as I can hook it up to my laptop to edit the presets with a full screen.

Been using the GP200 for just over a year. Pretty darn user friendly, all the shortcut buttons really make a difference there, wish they could be partly illuminated when inactive on a dark stage tho. The effects are not fantastic, but ok. Amp and cab models, pretty good, and great for the price! For stage/live use, 2 downsides; If you want to run cab-off mode on stage, and cab-on to desk, you can't split that in stereo(you get the option to run cab-off on L or R channel), split on volumes in that case not possible either. Also the break between scene shifts can in some cases be heard(little bit too long). Other than that, really really good for the money. I'm tempted to say that among the affordable ones, this is the only one that's somewhat easy to edit without connecting it to a computer. Adding names for the presets without a keyboard is off course a bit of PITA. Drum machine sounds not great as expected. Other than that, it's absolutely great for the money. If you run it through desk, do the sound guy a flavor, turn on global EQ with high/low cut to avoid frequencies that do not belong to guitar, these modellers really can sound shit in the mix without that:-) Fizzzzzzoraaaama and/or booooomy. What I have on my board in addittion is a drop pedal, the function of that in the valeton is not making the cut. I might add a stand alone tuner, the built tuner is not professional, so If you want to do quick tunings on stage, there's faster options🙂

Hey, you seem super knowledgeable on ...... Everything haha! I'm looking for an entry level multi board. I've been playing for a good couple years, but never messed with pedals. I want to make a board, but figured it'd be better to get a multi and start to discover what I like. I'm torn between this, or the Me-90. I'll likely use it for gigging, so I want something with good quality and tons of options. Any thoughts or opinions? Thanks in advance!

Looking forward to the NAMM Valeton pedals you found the VLP-400 and that 79$ patch pedal I own the Valeton GP 200 and I bought the ChopTone metal PK for it and also KZbin reviewer Daniel Kramer has some patches he made for sale they are great his clean tone patch is awesome and a few metal 🤘🏻 patches too 15 eu

on their website it says "enhanced firmware" but it seems it doesn´t offer anything more, except color scheme, than the original GP-200.. are there any noticable differences in performance/effects between the two ? I want one but not sure which..BTW you dont ship to Sweden, buhuu :(

What do people with GP200 favour for home playing? With mine I’ve used a basic electric guitar amp and turned the Valetons amp/cabinet emulations off (which seemed a waste of the unit’s ability) and I’ve used a basic acoustic guitar amp with all the tone controls in a neutral position, pretending it’s closer to an FRFR cab. This seems a better option and uses the Valeton amp/cab modules to better effect, which a seems better option overall. I guess I’m perhaps missing something… thoughts?

The biggest thing I miss on my GP-200 is that you should be able to switch from patch to stomp mode through a footswitch. That would really enhance the usability of this unit! I really like mine, but I don't love it... But at the same time, changing to something enough better would probably be three to four times more. That is the issue with Valeton GP-200, it sounds good and have everything what you need... So you will have a hard time to excuse the money to upgrade! Anyway, love your clips! You (Lee), Danish Pete and Digital John are the best! You're the reason I bought mine a couple of years ago...

You can set a combination of switches to switch a pedal on/off. Not as practical but if you switch presets a lot and only sparsely use one or two pedals it might be handy.

Yes it does. It can be used in stomp mode where the switches turn on/off whatever part of signal chain you want. You can also assign the FX loop as a it's own pedal, so you can use the switches on this to bring in/out other pedals.

Just the color. The standard Valeton is black, then there is the R (red) version and X (it's an anniversary edition in blue color)

This is just the best overall effects board unless you've thousands and thousands to spend. Its just so intuitively setup and easy to use, and then it sounds amazing. Never been so easy to edit sounds and make your own which is where "more functional" boards fail, theyre too much work.
