Why the Cardfight Vanguard Reboot Is Going to Be a Hard Reset

I got to admit that when the series went from legion to G stride, it was kind of a reboot but as they have the new main character and the new meta forming. As the G series progresses with the new main booster sets and the extra booster set, they were giving support for the old grade 3 units and/or archetypes by giving them just a G unit and/or a line of new units to really push them to good decks. So I do agree that from legion to G is a little bit of a reboot but it felt like a continuation of giving more support from the old era of vanguard. I have played cardfight vanguard ever since the start of the Asia circuit.

It's a necessary evil, to put it bluntly, due to the chaos of 2020 Vanguard all because Silverdust to Divine Lightning Radiance caused so much bollocks that banishing them to Premium seemed like the best move to do with this hard reset, but good thing I still have my Premium Overlord deck doing fine and is probably locked there since I have an eventual Dauntless deck if you want a Premium without an extra deck and Overlord is THE one with an extra deck.

2.0 is scary, only reason I don't think hard reboot makes sense is because it's too stupid and horrible business.

They only ever really take in consumer info from the Japan market, it’s the general pattern most Japan based business have.

Technically gurguit stop being good the moment the restriction happen. Standard has progressed to the point that most deck are either 8 draw or 16 crit to maximize reaching wincon(basically premium equivalent) so unless superior call spam from turn 1 like yugioh special summon happen there’s won’t really be a follow up available to the game to progress now that it’s basically turn 3 kill.
