Agreed. Hell, I'm an OG and don't give a crap if the return them and don't give a special style. The skins are good and that's all I care. Plus, others will be able to get them that didn't play back then. I get not wanting console or device exclusives to return because people genuinely spent a lot of money to get those items, I have a few myself but I also still use the devices and consoles for other games or whatever the cosmetics are just a bonus for me. But with battle passes it's different, people didn't spend hundreds on them and if they did then they're dumb as hell because obviously buying accounts is against Epic's TOS so it's a permanent bannable offense. Thank god, finally somebody who realizes it wouldn't be illegal to bring back old cosmetics that Fortnite owns the rights to. I keep seeing "legal loophole" which to my knowledge just isn't true. My personal opinion on the topic is that they should bring back old battle pass items through a battle pass system. I personally think it'd only be fare to give players who didn't get the chance to obtain these items back in the day a chance now. In some cases It's really not their fault that they get them, some examples of that being they may just not have know the game existed or didn't have the time to play back then. I don't think its fair to say they shouldn't be allowed to get some of their favorite skins just because of those reasons. I know a lot of players say that the exclusivity is a key part of the game, which I still to this day can not understand why or how. Thousands of kids would love to get their hands on some of these skins, but they shouldn't be allowed because they didn't play back in chapter 1? That to me is something I will never understand. All that said, I also do not think battle pass skins should ever be buyable in shop. While I think people should be able to get them, I still think they should be earned. I personally quite like the grind of getting everything in the battle pass, and some skins have memories attached to how hard they were to get. I would honestly be kind of sad if all I had to buy it from item shop. I could go on and on but I think you get the point. I'd love to hear others feedback, as long as its not toxic. I'm open to anyone's opinion, and I do not think mine is superior to others in any way.

I acknowledge that it's not Epic Games' fault. I, too, stopped playing regularly during Chapter 2, Season 8, and chose not to purchase any Battle Passes until Chapter 4, Season 4. As a result, I missed out on several unique skins like Gwen, Vader, Evie, Eren, and Spiderman. This was my decision, and I was aware these Battle Pass skins would likely not return. On the positive side, Epic Games has introduced variations of some of these Battle Pass skins in the item shop. For instance, you can still obtain Winter Evie, the Spiderman: No Way Home version, Mikasa and Levi if you missed Eren, Anakin if you missed Vader, Ciri from The Witcher if you didn’t get Geralt, Miles Morales or Miguel if you missed Gwen, and Venom skins as an alternative to Carnage. I'm not frustrated or blaming Epic Games for this. I understand they need to prioritize profitability, and preserving the exclusivity of Battle Pass items maintains their value. While they may reintroduce Battle Passes starting from Chapter 5, I appreciate their commitment to the game

Honestly I think epic games will sell the older battle passes, because that’s crazy timing that OG Fortnite is now permanently staying, and the fact that the older battle pass images technically got moved to a file called “offers” not only that but all these OG edit styles their giving out, it all adds up too much, and them moving away from exclusive stuff, I think how epic will do it, each month when a new season drops, that seasons pass will return and be offered for that month, once the season is rotated out of the month, that pass won’t be available again till that season comes back in 10 months when its season is set to return

Personally, I'm fine whichever way they decide to go. At the end of the day, it's a business decision, and that's that. I can either roll with it or walk away. I do think, however, they will never end the conversation on this with an announcement one way or the other because it keeps people talking, and it generates interest in the game. Also because it paints themselves into a corner in terms of being more profitable or not in this respect. So... don't look for a tweet, blog post, or sign language for an answer. I just want the opportunity to run the old quests and visit the old maps. I'm not really concerned about the cosmetics. I've always been a quest/story player, so that's really all that's in it for me.

with all the changes like the rarity and how the game feels nowadays, I would love to see old BPs return. Although if anything, I feel like those who bought the old BPs back in the day should be able to continue from where they left off and not have to buy it again. I think having a catalog of BP skins from each respective season (now with the whole Chapter 1 mode) allowing the players to buy whichever one they want in the shop would have them making more bank than just simply reselling the BP as a whole. By the way, eulas, can change. But using new eulas and terms and agreements cannot effect old items purchased with old eulas. This, they own it so they decide doesn't fly in court. Many companies have been sued and lost, or are currently getting sued for that very thing. That is why its brought up so often, what they can or cannot do heavily relies on the current ubisoft suit, and if purchasing the item that said you own it but its really a temporary license is allowed (up front said one thing, but really said another in the fine print). If ubisoft loses, gamers win as a whole, but it will effect every game before and after, including fortnite. If they are going to do it they need to do it fast, consequences (if any) be dammed, or it may never happen.

I agree and disagree with your points. Yes I know there's account selling websites that scam you... But that only exists because the fortnite skins are rare and not obtainable. It's not the og's fault that people scam.. I agree that they are just digital cosmetics but they are paid for... for example if I went to buy an apple at the store I want a juicy one and not a moldy one because I would be wasting my money on something that would just be thrown away. The majority of the people only want the gampass content because they have rarity in the game, but just like how the recon expert came back after years... Everyone "loved it and wanted it to return sooo badly" but when it did you only saw them in the lobbies for a few weeks and when a month pasts you could only find a recon expert in 1/50 games you played. So the og's that had bought it that still play the game just got smacked in the face for no reason just because humans are greedy and want things they can't have but when they have it the hype dies off and the release was all for nothing because it's no longer rare. Life isn't fair sometimes and it's not the og's fault that you had something going on at the time that you couldn't get the content. Fortnite was free to access for everyone and the gamepasses was free unless you wanted to make the decision to get the cool skins that were in the upgraded version. So if fortnite gave everyone a chance to get the cosmetic at one point in time why would it be fair to release it again for those that didn't take the time to get the cosmetic...? Unless you weren't born at the time lol. Sure people like the look of the of skins but just like as time goes there's going to be new cosmetics so why punish the the og's and bring the content back if they're just going to lose the hype and rarity for nothing just like the recon expert. Rarity in a game is good, not only does it keep players playing but it gives the non sweats a reason to keep playing and if they are og's with rare skins that kinda acts as a early supporter thing. I know there's millions of new players and they are the ones wanting the content to be released again... But fortnite has been released to the public free for years so by punishing the og's by losing the rarity of there skins for the new players that had a chance to get them at the time is kinda sad. I know a lot of the og's that are wanting this to come back argue that they missed the content. But they had the chance to get the content too... They could have bought tiers to gain access to the content or joined fortnite sooner. I am one of those people. I joined at the end of season two and I made my own call not to buy the extra tiers to finish off the gamepass and that's my fault and I have to accept that lol. Anyways, at the end of the day it's fornite's call if they want rarity or not in the game. We still have rare banners that are exclusive lol not just from the season gamepasses but in game events and from save the world.🤣

I'd rather them not, the reason I bought and grinded old battlepasses was because I was under the impression they would never come back(fomo). It sort of would feel like a slap in face for all the time I spent playing the game back then. I actually like that new battle passes are no longer forever exclusive and can/will return in the future and I honestly think that's how it should have always been. However, that is not how they advertised battlepasses back then so I do not think they should go back on it. Again, I wish Epic advertised old battlepasses as possibly returning, but since they didn't I do not think they should return. Going forward epic should forget about exclusivity nonsense for new items but they shouldn't undo their past decisions I stopped playing after chapter 2 season 3 because of the apple lawsuit and didn't come back until chapter 3 started because I finally switched to pc. I missed out on a lot of cool skins such as Lara Croft and Rick Sanchez but I accept that and don't want them to return out of respect for the people who actually played and grinded then.
