My ex left and moved in on the same night with her new bf snd our 2 children. Then for 7 months told me she was coming honewirh the kids. I loved and still love her so much and literally got used to ease her heartache or she wanted to ruin me. It worked either way shes still living with her bf and I've still not had my children all this year. I can relate because this has happened to me . After being married for 21 years my now ex wife wanted out, I was trying to hold on to my marriage but it wasn't what she wanted. As result, it ended with a divorce. Since it was finalized, I never heard from her anymore. And I'm going through a healing process and slowly picking up the pieces of my life and so decided to be silent and move on with my life. And in time, her conscience will remind her of her mistakes.

My wife of 30 years told me she wanted to be on her own lost the house my youngest was still at home missed the last two years of her schooling ,she thought the grass was greener, did everything to make it work she wasn’t interested. Was broken hearted for a long time , but I love the silence of being on my own and after a bit more I realised she was a right miserable soul nothing was good enough lots of negativity it’s lovely being away from a mood hoover and now I can pretty much do as I like when I like . I have good relationships with all of my children and family, it’s been a while now and I jump out of bed in the morning laughing and whistling and I leave the toilet seat up too

I won’t lie man, your videos are the one who bring me the most mental health I need. They are not the best at explaining things for me since I am more of science mindset although I am a believer, your videos on the other hand really make me feel like advancing, being better, applying no contact as it should be applied and I start to see myself on the other side. I gave all to this girl and left me, after 3 months she is with someone new. I helped her deal with 9 bullies, she had trauma , she couldn’t sleep at all or just 1 h, she had anxiety and complexity, lost 23kg, her eyes got from 3.1 to 0 with mi persistence and dedication, her relationship with parents improved and even more… It was rough to know another male will enjoy mi work but your videos help me and also make me understand that mi work on her proves what I am inside and what I can become from here on outside. Finalising it completely by giving her a real character reference. I knew that she would keep the on off on off going forever because she had been enabled to do that by me. I’m glad I took some power back and stuck a nail in ever getting things sorted out. Very hard but like you said. I literally told her to F off and don’t ever come back. One of the best videos I've seen on KZbin. I dated this beautiful woman for 16 months. We lived together & about a month ago wanted space so I agreed. This’s so true I’ve been on both ends of the stick but as a dumper you do feel it so bad so hard anxiety on 1000 depressed and I thought the grass was greener on the other side. As the dumper the silence is so loud. I’ll never forget it. Then I got my karma as a person dumped and when the dumper tried to come back I’ve completely done a 180 of evolution and working on my self and no longer codependent and needing a person and walked away a from them dumper as she’s now fr flowing the wrath and I can’t feel sorry for her I remember how it felt to be in her shoes and she has to learn things happen for you not to you. Ive been in a situation where my ex wife, gambling her relationship with this new guy overseas thinking she might have a better life with him which in my perspective, extremely selfish, without thinking she's betting our family in exchange, we have a daughter that have no idea her mother broke her father's heart and destroyed our family.....I cant even imagine how someone made this kind of decision. Crazy part is they were feeling like this for months and they waited for the right time to break up and on their terms. I had broken up with my ex 2 weeks before and she came bck. I decided to work it out 2 weeks later she cut me off didnt want to work it out which was crazy to me. After a month of no contact and realizing what had happen which was i was being blame for everything. I cracked during Thanksgiving and blew up her phone lashed out i didnt care and still dont. Why? She didnt care wen she strung me among so why should i? She said she didnt love me and that was that. But i spoke my peace and definitely felt better. But regardless ppl who do this dont deserve the best im sorry. They had every chance to fix the relationship but didnt and just screwed you over at the end. Only though about an easy exit for them!!

I ended up dumping(divorcing) my ex husband in 2017. Very tough decision and he was not toxic. I was NOT doing well for the first few months, I went down to 97 or so lbs, my parents said I didnt look good, hollow/sunken eyes. And I was the one who left. I regretted it for about 4-5 years, swearing off anyone else. I had such regret, vivid dreams. I was hoping he would come back for me, but never did. I wanted to reach out to him but I just couldnt bring myself to do it. He assumed I had moved on but I carried the pain/blame for all of that time after. Eventually, I wanted to see if I could meet someone again because I knew he wasnt coming back. So this is just a little perspective on a dumper and the regret I felt for years after.

Well sadly my dumper blocked me and his new partner started following me my social medias. I feel mine is a bit of a stalker. I didn't know how much ghosting hurts until I experienced it in March...this kind of confusing unexpected pain is just indescribable. I just don't know what I did or said and if I just wasn't his type then why not just say that? It would have atleast preserved the civility and friendship even if a relationship didn't work out. I'm still healing from it. I've developed a habit of saying "Lord have mercy" every time I feel myself slipping into the dark abyss of rumination and regret. I wouldn't wish it on anybody ever. Maybe I did build up an image that didn't match reality. I hear you but consider this. If you had his life, his traumas, his experiences, you would act the same way. He is who he is and was always going to behave this way. Practicing acceptance of who the are helps not to get trapped in the toxic mindset of “how could they do this?”

His parents moved to a diff state when he was very young to get treatment because his father had brain cancer. He was left in the care of his grandparents and then eventually his aunt/uncle. This probably shaped who he was because even kinship upbringing cannot compare to secure parental upbringing.

Hi Nick, thank you so much for this. This made me stronger somehow in spite of still grieving after a month into our breakup. Just this week my ex asked me to block him in my FB and I did and he also blocked me after a few days in my other accounts on his end (I'm not really a believer of blocking as I wanna be civil and felt like it's immature for me to do it in spite of the hurt I went through). His reason is for us to stop stalking each other which is fine with me. However, he asked if he could keep my WhatsApp number which I said yes. We bade our goodbye and he said we can revisit things in a few months. However, the week hasn't ended yet and he reached out to me already and asked if how I was and things or any news about me. I was planning to go into no contact already for months to come. He said I shouldn't be confused with things because we are just friends when we chatted. There was no major reason for the breakup but him wanting some space and because I got too clingy as he said (we're LDR) although I did try to work on it already to become less clingy. I knew this isn't encouraged to stalk your ex but just yesterday I saw that on his other account he didn't block me and I saw that he is following his ex there again. He knew it was something I'm not comfortable with before and we had an argument about it and he did it again. He also started following some girls on his main account just weeks after our breakup. I stopped checking now because it would do me no good but it just hurts me to see that he's doing it again. He knew from before I did check his accounts if he is affiliated with anyone or still connected with other girls when we started becoming exclusive with each other. This is a 7 year relationship. I just dumped her. Our relationship became long distance just recently not even up to a year. I work and she's still at her last year in school. My 9 year relationship just ended. He broke up with me 2 days after my grandmother died. I had to call and cancel our wedding, we had scheduled for next June on our 10 year anniversary. We got together when I was 19 and he was 20. He moved in with me after 4 months of dating. I ignored all red flags because I had committed myself to him. I was willing to make it work. We've been broken up for 3 weeks and I'm devastated. I never dreamed he'd be the one to leave, he doesn't even have a place to go yet and he's been couch hopping. He blamed me for all the relationship problems we have instead of his drinking. He's destroyed my soul. I found out he has aspergers and I'm now suffering from cassandra syndrome as a result and had no idea. @@dotatalove my ex is very intelligent in certain specific topics but lacks common sense. He masked the aspergers very well. He can carry on a conversation and talk about deep things as long as it's not about feelings, finances, or the future. He had no motivation to better himself but was a really good person. His drinking was like jeckyl and Hyde. He never hit me or anything like that but whenever he drank, he would become a completely different person and accuse me of things I've never done or have even thought about doing, things that don't even make logical sense or even be possible. He never apologized but always looked as if he was sorry. Whenever I call him out on anything he would just look at me like a deer in headlights and be like "idk what to say"....he would have false memories and accuse me of trying to gaslight him and tell me I was crazy. It got to a point where I really felt like maybe I was the one that was crazy. He lived with me for 9 years, I kept track and kept all the bills paid, I got him his job, I helped him get his first car etc. I remember his mom telling me once he was on the spectrum but I didn't catch it or pick up what she meant until right at the end. Then one day out of the blue he tells me he doesn't love me anymore and we're breaking up. All of his crap is still at my house, he's doing the same thing he's always done except removed me from his life. He's not "on his own." He's crashing on friends couches and leeching off them now instead. He had no sex drive and rarely initiated sex. No foreplay, very routine. I've spent the past 9 years thinking there was something wrong with me and thinking if I could just be better or do better, we'd be able to emotionally connect more but I was wrong

Didn't like being touched, hated to be late for anything, and was always a better friend to coworkers and friends than he was a partner. After he moved in and became comfortable, I was simply a roommate that became a personal secretary.

We were a good couple, many people was jelous how great we are together. I still cant believe she left me just like that... We are not together but also not actually been told its over. Asked for space and I gave it for 6 weeks with zero contact from that initial conversation. After 6 weeks i asked what is our situation. Got told still don't know and I'm suffocating. I think I had a right to ask where I stood after then. But perhaps they have yet to stumble upon the problem you refer to in this video. I was no saint, God knows... but I was made out to the antichrist to all her friends, my friends, and our mutual friends, she would tell me how certain people were now disappointed in me, how I was fill in the blank and that's all I would ever be and more. I think I worked harder than she did to save it than she ever did. I finally met someone at a job and we hooked up after she dumped me. I slowly got over her but she got high on her own crap and made bad choices. I didn't wait for it but I found out by others telling me but I moved on. I chose to date only when it suited me not to get over her. My life is quiet and peaceful, predictable and its a welcome change. There's not enough money for me to take her back.

My ex girlfriend broke up with me a month ago, we were amazing together. We went on holidays (canary Islands, Canada USA, last year we got engaged in Mauritius and were gonna get married next year. Then last month she told me shes not in love with me. I felt like this abyss hole had just swallowed me like after 6 years of us being together. She said shes moving out next month and buying a house 10 minutes away from me. She doesn't have any close friends here in Swansea but has friends in fishguard and Canada and she sees them every couple of months and Canada twice a year... i would never stop her having friends or going to see them. Were both in our 40s i have 2 children from my ex she has none. My children adore her. Im doing the no contact best i can and its really hard but i can't believe it... it hit me like a truck i didn't see it coming. I was there for her when her dad died, covid when first came out she got really ill and gave it to me but i took care of her, and saved her from drowning when we went on holiday. I love her still and do anything to make her happy 😥

Well mine is an avoidant so who knows if he ever really invested but we were together for 5 years and I loved him dearly. He left me this year in Feb. then his mother passed. So like it’s been awhile. He told me he wants to just be friends but that might be all it ever is and I need to accept that. He got a new job and makes way more money. He’s got his own apartment but weirdly enough he left almost all of his garage stuff here at our house we rented together. He also has a car of his in my driveway and claims he’s selling it. But it’s been all year. He’s taken my Daughter out to dinner and shopping for school a few times. Offered to come with her and I to cedar point and her bday party. It just seems super weird. He doesn’t reach out though unless we are. So I’ve gone no contact I’m not gonna continue to chase him.
