Tom Brady can make any mediocre Coach look like: "a Legend". But to be a Legend ...as a Coach ... you have to win with more than just one QB. Don Shula won with Johnny Unitas & Earl Morrell & Bob Greise, and got to the Super Bowl with Dan Marino. John Madden won Super Bowls with multiple QBs (Ken Stabler, Jim Plunkett). Bill Walsh won with Joe Montana & Steve Young. Tom Landry won with multiple QB's (Staubach, Morton) Andy Reed got to the Super Bowl with multiple QBs.

Why the Falcons didn't want Belichick >he has a losing record as a head coach without Tom Brady in the regular season and playoffs >his last 2 seasons with the Patriots were an unmitigated disaster including several blowouts and 3-4 shutouts >he turned a promising rookie QB into a complete bust by not hiring an OC >he ran Brady out of town because he thought Brady was starting to play poorly. What you guys don't know is that local news in Atlanta reported Raheem Morris and Terry fontenot will now be reporting directly to Arthur Blank not Rich McKay. So this came down to what have you done lately and lately Bill sucked for the past 4 to 5 years. There is no evidence that he is a successful head coach without Tom Brady and that's the bottom line.

Bill's not a great compromiser. So be it. If he wants that record, he'll concede to reality; if not, so be it. Andy Reid was smart enough to shed his GM duties when he went to KC. We don't know for sure what Bill wanted, but obviously, it was a lot. Much like how 3 years of losing weren't enough to make him hire, y'know, a REAL OC last winter, this won't make Bill change. There's only one thng he seems to value even more than winning: stubbornness.

He might be after the 2024 season if the team implodes and loses more games than it wins. Joe Burrow might not be Tom Brady 2.0, but he’s far better than all the non-Brady quarterbacks that Belichick has dealt with. Three non-losing seasons as a starter versus one losing season. BB will need a QB as talented as Burrow for him to take a team to the playoffs and potentially the Super Bowl. Assuming, that is, that he can land an HC job with an NFL team.

They won only 1 against Dolphins, thanks to Moss. and Remember Pats owned Steelers and Chargers with Brady. Belichick was NEVER the reason Pats owned Steelers.
