Why the Hoover must be denied. The Hoover will not serve you. The Hoover is meant to see if you have healed. The Hoover is meant to test the waters of your state of mind. The Hoover is meant to keep you stuck in trapped back in the fog. The Hoover has not served you in the past and it won’t serve you in the future. The narcissist is a weak..shallow and empty person, they Hoover people to try to get them stuck back in the cycle of abuse. Do not accept a Hoover ever. It was the hoover that really made me understand what kind of person I was dealing with. Up until the hoover occurred, I held onto the good times, hoping she might change, as we know, this is not possible. After a few manipulative attempts to contact me, I picked up the phone. She said she misses me, thinks about me all the time, etc. I was pleasant, but unreceptive to her request to get together. Then the demon came out in full force. The call ended and she spent two hours texting demonic nonsense, speaking of herself in 3rd person, etc. It was an eye opener, but in hindsight, I shouldn't have been surprised, similar behavior was displayed throughout our toxic relationship. I've spent countless hours trying to diagnose her level of narcissism, in the end, it's pointless. She displayed many of the classical traits, and the relationship was a toxic soup that was eating away at me. That's all you need to know to heal and stay away from it. I suggest following Andrews advice, block, delete, no contact. This channel has been so helpful in my healing. Thank you.

About a year after the divorce,I got a package from UPS. No name or address on it,just bar codes and numbers. I opened it and every picture from our marriage was in there! I know he wanted a reaction from me so that he could say that he did a nice thing and she called yelling. I called my daughter to come and get the box. He married a few months later! This Narcissist situation experience was horrible and it took me a few years to believe that a man can be jealous of a woman. The hoover is only coming back to finish up what it started. The Narcissist is a very extremely jealous and envious demon which its only purpose is to destroy what God created on earth and drain not only your energy but your resources and even your life. Don't accept the hoover. Andrew is absolutely correct. Or make sure when you get out/gets discarded that they NEVER even want or dare to think about making a hoover. I made it very clear, in a way not possible to misunderstand, that she will never again set her foot on the inside of my threshold. No matter the reason. I will gladly leave her hungry, thirsty, freezing or hurt on my doorstep. She crossed so many lines during our relationship but that last line she will not ever be allowed to cross... I can affirm, Andrew, that you are right in that everything you have said, when it comes to me. I had no boundaries, was a people-pleaser, naive, and as an added bonus, desperate to be loved. It all nearly, literally killed me. 25 years of unspeakable verbal abuse, lying, cheating, stealing, mockery, ridicule, scorn, badmouthing, exclusion, and rejection in return for my love, dedication, loyalty, and fidelity culminated un a murder attempt in New Year's Eve 2021. That's when I started making plans to leave. It wasn’t really a choice. It was an ultimatum: stay with me and die, or leave and you might have a chance to live. I left on August 31, 2022. It hasn't been easy, living on my own, in my old age. Healing is slow. I still am full of anger and hurt. Sometimes, it feels like it all was only yesterday. My narcissist father has tried to hoover me for years. He keeps showing up to my apartment and knocking on my door. I never answer the door but he leaves a note saying 'Call me.' He was incredibly jealous of me because I'm a bodybuilder. One time he showed up to my door and when I answered all he said to me is 'Still taking whey protein?' It's like he was ruminating on how jealous of my physique he is for weeks then decided to stop by and say something about it. He tried to get me hurt and break me down when I lived at his house and worked at his construction business. I've been no contact with him, but he still knows where I live.

I have been blessed by your teaching, Andrew ,which I thank you. This education has positively changed life. I am wiser because of it. I have narcissistic family members that are hoovering now in my life but my door to them is shut. They are toxic and as you have taught over and over and they will never change. I’ve accepted I will most likely never recover the funds. But I also know now is the time to completely step back. if she approaches me during a work situation I will have to go gray rock. I want to make a comment, but it's almost as if I would be honoring the narc to even waste the energy to text a comment. Your information is totally spot on. It took years to even understand through reading and listening and being honest with myself. I thank the Lord!! He truly has been my helper, and the holy spirit my teacher. Given their state of mind, their unconcious inner hate towards all good its imo dangerous to your mental and maybe physical health so I will never accept a hoover. DV is often related to narcissism. The longer I am out of this recent relationship the more my awareness rises of what a disturbed personality that ex had.

Andrew, I just got the Hoover text yesterday and boy did it bring up so many thoughts and emotion that sent me spiraling … for a few hours. Ultimately, it was listening to the emotions that were coming through and remembering how much I disliked feeling so much uncertainty and confusion. I simply cannot put myself in that position any longer, now that I’m aware. The little peace I have found in the last 23 days is still far greater than even the best day with them and their facade. Thank you for the knowledge and always available encouragement

They should try cardinal bird watching instead. It might be more productive. I only chirp when they break my things now. You would think some would find a new supply but old habits die hard and I'm guessing some don't think or pay attention to there targets awareness level.
