Thank Moooo!! For the answers of why deere and Massey Ferguson machines are those colors. And I might have a theory of the grey color as the secondary color of Massey Ferguson machines. The grey represents the Ferguson and Massey Harris merger with the red.

Tug Boat manufacturers distinguish their products by the color of the exhaust stacks on their tugs. As an example, Crowley Maritime exhaust stacks are Crowley Red. The rest of the boat can be whatever the Tug Companies color scheme is, but the Stacks stay the color of the manufacturer.

Except Deere horse drawn equipment was red and yellow. They became green because that was the color of Waterloo Boy tractors. As we all know Deere got into tractors by purchasing Waterloo Boy. The explanation of case international You've completely forgotten the IH side of the brand. That's where red came from.
