Got mine today, it has basically no side play, but the blade did not come sharp, barely cuts paper. Biggest thing for me is getting used to carrying tip up. I have to mess with it a bit after coming out of my pocket to position my hand to open. I have XL hands.

Just recently came out in all black; they even switched from a blackwash blade to a black PVD. Still wish there were slightly more colors, but at least it's something.

If more options hit the market, I'm in. I have to customize things, so if they released something in titanium, g10, or frn (something I could change the color of), I'd be all about it. Show me one with titanium scales, and it's a done deal.

It is a very nice knife--I do like my Kershaws. But I'm asking Mr. Amazon for the $15 Flissa that it looks like. Same type of lock, 1/2 inch more (very sharp, half-serrated) blade, and really great flipping action (if my first Flissa is any indicator). Sure, I would have to sharpen it more often---or I might just order 10 of them!

Kershaw’s QC sucks. My belair came with an omega spring missing on the lock.

I have a kershaw with a cleaver like blade with a frame lock. The frame lock bar went to the other side of the blade and got stuck and cracked the G10 scale. Tried to pry the lock back over and it didn’t want to budge and the tool slipped and the blade sliced me to the bone of my 2nd and 3rd fingers cut the tendons and even though it’s a cheap knife it had my sharpening put to it so it was a slicer. I still have it but too many things happened and it’s still stuck open. It’s spring assisted and I won’t buy another kershaw ever. They didn’t want to talk about it so we will be at a later date

Belair holds the bearings inside the blade, not inside the frame and it has washers over the bearings... This brings to blade play very fast and thats a bad design, not for a 140$ knife. Just because of that ill go with bugout. This is a bad designed knife...

Mines still going strong has the same amount of play as 2 of my Bugouts however the Bugout I use the most has terrible blade play due to the titanium cross bar lock now that’s a terrible combo for an axis lock. Nether knives are perfect but I still like them both 👍🍻🍻

@@MikeJ602 No I have not. I have seen a guy on youtube bend the blade easily and that is an indication that the steel is not properly hardened by kershaw, and for a $160 knife that is just unacceptable. But you will not see that of the paid for reviews on youtube will you?
