100% correct. Dropped the Barbell Squat for the Hack Squat and Leg Press and my legs have never been bigger. Way safer to g to failure.

I keep getting injured squatting. Doesn’t happen with leg press. I also cant fail on squat like I can on leg press.

I have switched to using back squats for glutes. . Doing 7 sets of leg extensions pre exhaust. I’m big as hell 299 pounds 5 o low body fat.

Damn I don’t usually comment but I HAD to say something. If you have trouble squatting, then you probably have an underlaying issue that needs to be addressed. Leg presses might be great too but for me, it puts bandaid to the problem. For longevity and overall great health, it’s ass to grass.

Anyone who claims this just don’t wanna do the hard work it takes to squat. Squats develop your legs way better and its no comparison. This whole video is copium

@@TJs.Shooting Honestly I'm at a "nah fuck this" moment with science, I prefer the pros method a lot more than science. All the science nerds just keep looking for the most optimal way. Science is always updating.

@@xozu idk I’ve been squatting for a very long time. Once upon a time I tried jumping on this logic and my legs lost a ton of strength and size. Took me probably 6 months just to get back to where I was. I guess each person is different but for me nothing yields the same results as squats for my legs. I’d say lunges are more effective for me than leg press. In my experience leg press is one of the worst exercises to grow your legs
