Mike is KING! I’ve followed for years, still getting better and stronger, because I listened and watched. Now 56 and always PB in my life. Long live ELVIS. 💪🏻❤️🙏🏻

This goes hand in hand with what Mike talks about relating to the strong connective tissue. Not just repping out weight with bad form, but seriously controlling and owning the weight. Strong tendons >>>

This guy is a 1 in a million genetic package. This is regardless of PED use or plastic surgery. If he uses PEDs that would make sense based on how over the top his phsyique is, but the drug use would not take anything from him. Anavar does not give you the fountain of youth or make you look like Mike. Super genetics, very hard work, and then yes, Anavar can help.

I'm with mike on this. Heavy fucking weights, power bodybuilding all day. Always go heavy. I start heavy then build up my strength so I can do 10 in a set, then I add 50 lbs , to hit 4 reps then work my way back up to 10 and repeat. Believers in heavy sets= dorian yates , arnold schwarznegger

Idk if Mike is natty or not. All I know is ever since loosely following his pb program as a natty my gains are better than they've ever been. Even broke through what I thought was a genetic limitation. He's a legend for a reason.

How many people actually control the weight like this? It’s so much harder to do but the results will be more significant and it will pay off. I’m only a young guy but seeing this guy squatting like this at the age he is and then seeing guys throwing around 500 with knee wraps and back support… you know whose gonna be able to continue to do this for the long run. You gotta leave the ego at the door early on so when you are 50 you can do what no one else can.

I agree but when you get old and lift heavy for decades the knees and back just won’t allow the heavy squats and deads. The legs will shrink but your back and knees will thank you.

Honestly. I like the movement and look of a squat of a olympic/weightlifter lifter. But that's my opinion
@johngrantland68011 ай бұрын
Heavy weight builds round muscles. I cycle in and out of heavy weights. Have a good mixture. For me, I can go heavy once and see growth but if i went heavy everday then it won't change. I may believe it's changing with more days. Reality is, that one ultra workout made the growth and not the heavy series over time. We spread our reassures too thin to grow muscle size. We also multitask gym train=no size. Doing hams, calves, shrugs, pull ups then finish with 30 run. It's fine for general fitness but you won't grow muscle size. Man that chases 2 rabbits catches none. Workout approach should match fitness goals. Bottom line, a series of spread out ultra high level heavy training days makes progressive natural growth/large muscle size. Not the grind. Having 2-3 ultra chest days in a month produces exponential growth vs. making sure I hit chest 8 times in the month not to loss size, I'm speaking for the average not on gear person.
