Perfect example: I went to my son's award ceremony at his high school. I got there early to get a seat by myself. My narcissist shows up and sits right next to me even though there were plenty of empty seats in the auditorium. She then took out her cell phone and began texting someone and giggling. I totally ignored her even though she leaned towards me so I could see her phone. I think I said a total of three words to her. When it was over, I stood up and congratulated my son and walked out without acknowledging her.

To be quite honest, living your best life *wholeheartedly will never convince much less propel anyone to welcome (and even if you do on some level.....not for a long time) .....someone of this nature. As behaving like this is a choice.....more like a freak! No relationship that is of value needs to be fought for or forgiven or whatever hype that supports enduring such headaches. Often times these types make the mistake of trying someone that ends up breaking them. Which I believe is their real karma. As often times, (for these types) being full of life and being in a functional state of mind means that this type of behavior can be exercised at will by way of the energy and life that they have.

They definitely do watch. As soon as I was doing better (6 months later) she came back around and decided she would give me "closure". Every insecurity she knew about, every flaw was used against me. She made me look like a total ahole loser and she was the victim. Fortunately a few people who knew her had seen her do the same thing to other people - so they've been helping me see that I'm not the monster she made me out to be. My ex narc died in 2020, a very sad and lonely death. I hadn't seen him in 23 years but I knew he was watching. He can't watch me anymore, but I still have his introject in my head. The seed he planted will always be there, but now I know He never really loved me and this makes it easier to accept that I never really loved him either. Because, you can't love someone who never existed in the first place. If you would have told me 23 years ago that his death wouldn't really affect me, I would never have believed that. It does affect me in that I feel so sad for him and find the whole thing just really sad. But, I didn't shed one tear because I was no longer hypnotized. I see clearly now what he was.

You are 100% right, everything you said. I always allowed my ex narc back into my life. Wish I had seen these videos back then. I had no idea I was a “supply.” He would drain me financially, emotionally and physically. Then he would leave. When I began to recuperate and rebuild my life, there he would be, waiting to reinsert himself into my life again. He was so afraid I was moving on to bigger and better things without him (which I was). I was weak to him because I actually loved him. He used my love for him against me. Like you said, that maintained his control of me. I was so loyal to someone who stabbed me in the back over and over.. l’ll never get those years back. Glad I stumbled across this video.

My narcissist was caught peeking in my porch window in the dark while I was outside with other friends talking. He was caught on more than one occasion essentially stalking me. At first, I was flattered instead of frightened. I thought it meant he really cared about me or was obsessed with me, but now I realize he was just "studying" me. Wow. Hindsight. He also admits to lurking on my social media and will ask me questions regarding what I've posted. Again, it made me think he cared, but now I realize he's just playing a game.

Love this video my life 💯. I had to laugh because all I kept thinking was let him watch me. Let him see what everyone around me sees the positivity, the happiness, the confidence, the pure joy that surrounds me. Let him see that my health has never been better and my mind has never been so clear. Let him see the glow in my face and the clarity in my eyes. Let him watch and see that the mess he left me with is cleaned up and looks better then ever. Let him watch me at work and see the strong boundaries I put up to make sure I'm not taken advantage of and that I'm crushing it. Let him see how calm and at peace I am. Let him see that in spite of everything he did to me I'm still here and Im stronger then ever! Let him see the broken, confused, weak woman he remembers has risen and found all of her amazing qualities that were buried so deep within herself for so long just because she could no longer feel have returned 10 fold and will keep growing. Most of all let him ever ask me to take him back and give him a second chance and I would seriously look at him with that dumb blank narscistic stare and say GET OUT!! See there was only one second chance in this post npd abuse stage and I had already claimed it for ME the second I said ENOUGH NO MORE! The second chance was for me to start anew and to be the version of myself for with determination and dedication will continue to grow each and every day. This whole healing process is hard but it's energizing and empowering beyond words and its so worth it. When I have the support of myself and the amazing people around me who truly just want to take every opportunity to build me up instead of tearing me down what more could you hope for. I mean seriously has amazingly lucky am I. Let him watch me from afar I think God everyday he's gone! My husband has texted me twice now with no reply. The first was clear gaslighting/blameshifting where he said “despite all the lies and misinformation you’ve spread about me, I still miss you”… I only told the truth. Then, a week later, he texts me asking “are you okay?” after months of him cheating, discarding, and ignoring me. NO, I am not ok, but why would I admit that to him? He already knows. These people are sick, and like you described, absolute vampires. Take everything I am and take my energy until I am dead.

Yes, he admitted that he keeps tabs on me? No contact for months and months. During the relationship he used GPS, to track me. He stalked me, when i was out. Honestly, i don’t believe people like that will ever change. I know he still stalks me, yet i am thankful, that i don’t have to deal with this, in my everyday life. It was the sickest relationship i ever encountered.

I totally agree. The narcissist is always watching. I dumped my ex Chris. In December 2022 he texted me. He asked me about my friend who died in December years ago from cancer. It’s been 7 years since we communicated. Thank God for KZbin channels on how to deal with narcs. No offense Andrew. I discovered your channel the beginning of this month. He was desperate for supply because he uses my dead friend as an excuse to contact me. I didn’t read his full text. I deleted it. I never responded to him. I blocked his new number. I felt so empowered. I feel absolutely nothing for him. It was a great day.

Started getting a bunch of hang up calls on my phone! I changed my voice mail to the computerized voice lol… suddenly the calls stopped lol🤣 so thankful it’s over…. I have learned! Two years ago he posted that song “every move you make, every breath you take, I’ll be watching you” by the Police… when I saw that song posted my intuition told me something was off, next time I need to listen!! yep he’s watching, he’s blocked everywhere… I think he drives by my house frequently as he works about a mile away… his big ego is such a turn off! YUK! DONE! I am so mad at myself for not catching the red flags sooner! I think I was in denial, not believing it…

At the end of the day, in reality, it's a good thing I got discarded (4yrs ago) otherwise I'd still be there getting gaslit, invalidated, lied to, diminished, ghosted and stone walled. Knowing I was in a toxic affair for 15 years, but waiting for him to leave his partner, as he told me many times, i accepted what I could get. This video is spot on! 6 months Narc free, 5 months no contact. Praise God!!! The ex let it slip once that he would watch my house early in the relationship. Of course when I brought that up months later he denied it. Often times in the past 5 months I’ve felt like I was being watched. Never saw him but definitely felt someone watching me. Very creepy! After church last week I encountered a flying monkey working at a restaurant near my home. He said hi as he walked by our table but we didn’t engage him at all. This week I got a FB message from the narcs adult daughter saying THEY missed my nephew and wanted to know where he’d been. (I have custody of my nephew) I didn’t respond! And I blocked her on FB messenger. The flying monkeys and the narc aren’t welcome in this family!!

The narcissist is Cruelty. Bottom line. Of course they watch. Your pain is their pleasure. They enjoy their meals. Now you are away, and dealing with the cognitive carnage you sustained. This time, I was lucky. This time, the powers that be said, "it's enough. No more. You can open your eyes, child." Once again, I thank you for your words. My problem is that I am so relieved and overjoyed, I am giddy. Almost out of my mind with relief alone. So now, I am blithering with everything I couldn't say before. Someone else able to receive a bit of comfort because of something I said? I am delirious, and firing off love every chance I get. But you are right. It is time to heal, to care for myself. I know what I am doing here, and I am fixing it. It is just that it is so hard when you are wired this way. All I ever wanted to do was make things better. For anybody. Life is too short to allow suffering if I can do something about it. But, I am now doing the important task of caring for the person who feels that way. I am trying to make sure she never loses hope again . You light is helping me avoid the pitfalls during "recovery," and this particular one might have left me empty once more. Thank you.
