According to Revan, who was a Jedi then a Sith, then a Jedi once more, the light side is stronger, but takes longer to master. The dark side is quicker to bestow the user with raw power but is corrosive and corrupts the user.

Oh Stupendous Wave made a Nihlius video that basically proves he's not as powerful as people assume. His power doesn't actually drain the life force of a planet, but rather it enshrouds the surface with his power over time and drains life from the inhabitants of the planet. It really really helped give me a better understanding of him and his power.

Yes, but leading up to the fall of the republic. The jedi order was blinded by their own arrogance. With them falling from their assigned path, the dark side gained the advantage.

The dark side is stronger in the short term, it’s like steroids they may make you stronger but it will take a toll on your body and mind. The Sith are 8/10 times more powerful and skilled than Jedi but as I said the dark side takes a toll on your mind, the dark side breeds arrogance in inexperienced, young Sith and Sith masters have to teach their appearance’s that yes the dark side gives you immediate power but they must control it or it will control them. Jedi more often win duel because the dark side will make a Sith arrogant even Sith master occasionally fall prey to arrogance because it is addictive.

The Sith are more powerful carnally, but the Jedi are more powerful spiritually. Case in point: the Jedi earn the right to immortality in the Force.

The problem is only the dark side can rise somebody from a low station to a high station. Trust in the right side and trust in the force you are going to get whatever it gives you. Like shemi Skywalker. Where was the light side when she needed rescue health and healing.??? However Darth bane went from a lowly minor to a great sith lord. From broke and from a broken family, to having a sensei and student power team with Darth zannah. The dark side will take you from broke to rich, from alone to having someone. From week to strong. The light side will have you just..... Sit there. The only thing the light side has is healing ability. Dark side does too, but it cost life to do it (making it a net, neutral)

Dark side is nothing but power which is all they care about. Also note, in every movie it takes a sith to save the galaxy every time. Vader, kylo ren, revan. All sith before they were redeemed. Jedi are weak because they deny you your own natural feelings. If sith weren't strongest it wouldn't take an entire galaxy of Jedi to go against two sith. They fail every time lol.

I believe sith are stronger short term where as jedi are stronger long term but the strongest is jedi like revan & mace who can tap into both sides & combine them.

I think it really just comes down to the force user. But I would rather be trained as a Jedi than a Sith, but I know I would end up leaving in order to help people my way. And to possibly find love.

@@SkinnyEatWorld95 Yeah that sounds nice thing to do Me personally I would trained as a Jedi up to when I earn my Knighthood than I explore the galaxy living in the moment helping people in the simplistic things problems either big or small while following the will of the force,the Jedi ideals while maybe improve upon them mastering myself in physical,spiritual,heart and mind so I don’t succumb to fear,anger and hate overcome them so I won’t fall to the dark side. Also mastering different lightsabers forms and improve my force abilities and give love and joy to others the selfless kind. To be honest love benefits Jedi and the light positive emotions I can go either living without personal love but if I do find it I want to earn it and be responsible to a love one.

I think so! But I’m not sure how I’d feel about Disney writing a Revan Film. They haven’t done the best job of that lately. The thought of a woke Revan makes me wanna 🤮

Sith is stronger but it’s reckless and much harder to control. Most Sith users become consumed by the dark side even those like Dooku who try to balance it with light side.

Darth bane didn’t take the Sith into hiding because the sith of the old republic had a back stabbing problem where younger sith would team up to kill a Sith master breeding weaker sith and in Darth bane’s time the brotherhood of darkness was established under lord Karn who banned Sith from using the name Darth because it inspired betrayal between master and appearance whoever ambition fuels the dark side and if you lack ambition then you’re a bad sith. The Jedi never whipped out the sith bane trick karn into using a Sith ritual that would kill every force user in the area including the sith this ritual created a weapon which killed all the Jedi and sith on the planet leaving only bane and his appearance and the sith would stay only 2 to ensure the next sith was strong or smarter. The Jedi have never out right defeat the sith until Luke skywalker but the sith has humiliated the Jedi a Sith by the name of malgus actually attacked and captured the Jedi temple with a team of 20 sith and malgus the battle master of the order in single combat and this was at a time when the Jedi were at their most powerful Jedi of the clone wars baring Anakin, obi wan, yoda and mace windu and a few more members of the high council would not stand a chance against the Jedi of the old republic. The sith are way stronger as Anakin who only just turned was able to fight multiple Jedi with no effort and kill the only challenge during order 66 was the battle master and shaak ti the only reason Anakin lost to order was his arrogance, his conflict (which weakens the dark side) and obi wan using the high ground if Anakin obi wan wouldn’t have lasted long.

The Jedi have never proven to be stronger than the Sith, other than maybe Grandmaster Luke from Legends, but the Skywalker Line is the exception to the rule. Objectively, the Sith are significantly more powerful than the Jedi. HOWEVER, the Light Side leads to greater power over time than the Dark Side. People often forget that the Light and Dark Sides of the Force are NOT mutually exchangable terms for the Jedi and the Sith. Just because the Light Side has no real ceiling to its potential and the Dark Side does have a ceiling due to a being's physical limitations of their body, doesn't mean the Jedi are more powerful than the Sith. These are two separate comparisions (Light vs Dark, and Jedi vs Sith). The way of the Jedi has never created a path for their members to discover a greater scale of strength than the Sith. The Light Side has the potential, but the Jedi haven't mastered it to the degree extreme enough necessary to surpass the Sith in individual power. Other than the Skywalkers, who represented both factions, the greatest Sith are vastly superior to the greatest Jedi. Nomi Sunraiser, Yoda, Satele San, and the other Jedi legends are dwarfed by the Sith legends like Sidious, Vitiate, Krayt, Caedus, and Bane (and more). Even the secondary tier of power for the various Sith throughout history is on par or greater than the greatest Jedi.

@@Demonoicgamer666 Sith infighting makes them weaker in certain respects but really neither side is innately more powerful However the most powerful ability is to become a Force spirit and become immortal and only lightsiders can do it. Darksiders also have a lot of problems with seeing into the future, that ability is more common for lightsiders. Healing is also something darksiders struggle with The path to power for the Light is slow & hard, it’s quick & easy for the Dark. The Light is the stuff of life that’s why lightside nexus are always teeming with flourishing life while darkside nexus tend to be barren wastelands.

@@JadusMoltriel it’s not that the Jedi haven’t mastered it, it’s that they nerfed themselves for millennia by shunning attachments and passion. Not all passion is rage and hate and revenge. Love makes a Jedi very strong in the Light. This is something Luke’s new order was supposed to fix Also I think it’s really stupid to be like “hey look at all this crazy destructive stuff the Sith could do they must be way more powerful” Jedi or any lightsider would never even WANT to do that kind of stuff. Jedi can become immortal and that’s something many Sith tried to do but can’t because only lightsiders can do it

@@heatherleisure9217 siths power is destructive but that’s what they want powerful sith like plague have been able to bring the dead back to life however it’s unnatural, Darth valkorian gave one of his subjects immortality the only problem was it caused intense pain to, sith can also possess people to stay alive, Darth Sion was immortal even though he was struck down his body and mind refused to die due to his pain and anger. So sith do have versions of light side powers however it’s unnatural.
