I don’t think there is unconditional love in a romantic relationship. If the person physically abuses me or cheats on me or abandons me, I’m out. There are most definitely conditions to me.

LeeAnn is SPOT on Jonathan! I’m 67, and all these men want to do is get you into bed before even getting to know you! I’ll not be used like that..I’m a nurse too on the East coast, and I will NEVER chase a man! Celibacy, and being on your own aint that bad! I’d just like a friend who keeps his hands and little brain to himself, and who can hold a decent conversation…so HARD to find!

I just got out of a relationship where I was trying to understand what was going on and it was so confusing for a year and a half and then I realize now that he has borderline personality disorder and everything can clear. Sometimes it’s OK to be alone for a while, and trust your path and know that being single, doesn’t mean that there’s anything wrong with you.

That does seem true that Lea Ann may have an "area issue" with availability. She's effervescent. She's Bohemian. I think she should put that on her profile. That's Lea Ann. I think she should say clearly she doesn't want a big drinker and she wants someone financially secure. [She'll have to phrase it so she doesnt sound like a golddigger.] Because she's effervescent and Bohemian, she's going to catch rejection just because men need to catch her vibe and see if they can connect. I think she would do well to embrace her uniqueness and learn strategies that can give men she wants to hit on time and space to catch her vibe and connect. I don't think it's about coming on too strong. I think it's about her gauging situations to be more successful. She might need to be a little coy to leave more room for the man to come out of his shell. It's going fishing. She's cute as a button. lol

One thing I learned is that I want to feel safe and secure. But, I also tend to keep people at arm’s length. I do confide, but all too often have had confidences flung back in my face & I think I scare these rude guys when I laugh back at them & ask if they think that tactic works with me? It only reveals who they are, not any flaw about myself… so, I’m fine with that… disappointed but yes, I’d rather know. But just getting tired. I’m still talking to my Sarg -I always am direct with him. How else will I find out what’s going on with him lol I get that much with asking direct questions (I have your funny voice running in my head “but Jonathan…”😅 Positive things & healing in this experience: 1. I need to get more independent than I thought I was 2. Stop dumping people because I’m becoming impatient- even though he may not be the one, he is still a good person and give him a chance to talk to me (don’t stonewall) 3. He is the first man I have been proud of and was able to stand up to at the same time. Plus, I think he’s gorgeous and I usually don’t go for all of that. No matter what happens, I wish the best for him and am proud to have known him. Honestly Jonathan, this is the 3rd time trying with him. He doesn’t need me as a placeholder, he can get anyone he wants and I’m confident enough to move on too. There’s the older friend I mentioned who tried reaching out but like you, I don’t date or entertain more than one person at a time. I don’t mind talking, but I won’t date anyone else. But how much time is too much? We’re going on 3.5 weeks of no in person meeting. My birthday is this week… I told him and want to see him. The ball is in his court now! Hopefully he can act like a grow up lol - Thank you Jonathan for your support and words of wisdom and encouragement 🙏✨🙌🏽💕💕💕 Hugs 🤗

I would love to hear you speak on "remaining present." I think we leave our bodies when we experience negative feelings. It's like an emotional punch of negative energy that knocks us out. Then, the negative energy that is not us takes up the space we vacate. That's what I hear from the Spirit: "Remain present." I'm not trying to forgive so and so. To me, the past is a non sequitur. I'm trying to remain present. I am the kind of person, harm me enough in degree or length of time in unresolved matters, I will shut down. I'm trying to remain present. Just be neutral. Like, don't take the punch. Ignore the reminder. Maybe you'll touch on this. :)

I have come across a lot of damaged men over the years. I don't always pick up on it immediately but i have said for a long time that they are usually looking for sex and games, a status symbol and life style or property and money or a housekeeper and servant. That may always have been the case and i was too naïve to see it xxx

Spot advice on asking someone how much they are worth financially before getting intimate. May I add also find out how much debt they are in. It's a package deal. I'm part of the 20% of people who makes over 6 figures, no depth and has plenty of reserves. My selections of men on the same lines as I is limited. So I know I may have to consider a men's financial lacking to the relationship.
