I heard them at AXPONA 2022. With and without the matching Subwoofer. They were IMHO the best system under $1k USD (without the Subwoofer of course). Nice review !

I have the encore the last iteration. These are the best speakers I've ever heard and I've owned a lot of speakers. I have subwoofers I turned them off. You can bang this speakers and they are great.

if you compare this to kef LSX ii wireless. dont mind the price just the sound for a non audiophile would it be better?

Good to see you back. Do you still have the Wharfedale Lintons? Or have you found something to replace them. There are better speakers but I am planning to purchase another pair under $2K. Yes I can buy more expensive speakers but I can't justify the cost since my attitude towards this hobby is to have a really enjoyable system for as little cash as possible. I am also a boomer and have always put my family's needs above all others. All the best!
