Sin is ruining man. Lust, and all the sexual pleasure, love of money and very expensive houses and cars over GOD, pride, blasphemy and everything. Man is setting himself up for judgement and is going to perish in hell forever because of it, where will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Repent and turn to Jesus today, and accept his gift of eternal life. For Jesus is coming and we can see it: wars and rumors of wars like the Third Wolrd War(Matthew 24:6-7), the earth's axis in 2011 tilted 10 cm, which is the size, of woman's you know what place' right before birth, and that's how we know we are in birth pains(Matthew 24:8). The early (pre facelift) W140 are of superior build quality. At facelift time (1994/1995 models) M.B. did over 1,700 changes to the S-class, Most of them had the original purpose to lower manufacturing cost (hence: quality!) and to simplify many complex engineering systems which tended to be unreliable. To begin with, the W140 was the most expensive vehicle ever developed by Mercedes-Benz in terms of design and production economics. The original development engineer and most of his staff were FIRED after production started due to alarming over budget costs. The first four years of production the W140 only produced losses to M.B., until the car was facelifted and production costs were lowered (along with quality and final consumer price, which allowed to raise sales proportionally).

@@omostim2385I’ve been doing research on this generation of Mercedes between the W140 (coupe and sedan) as well as the R129s. I’ve heard of the pre-1997 biodegradable harness issue. Are there any other major issues that they’re known for?
@omostim2385 Жыл бұрын
@@frankieguinto8121 Sadly I don’t have much experience or knowledge on Mercedes of the early to mid 90s biodegradable era. I’ve owned older (91 560SEL, 89 300CE, and 77 300D) or later (2000 E320, SL500, and 03 S430). I especially love the later R129s and 140s for having the 722.6 5speed and or the M112/113 engines. They are just easier to work on and have lots of parts available. The W140 still used the M119 and M120 engines but from what I hear they are great engines. Paired to the 722 trans makes it even better. It’s a faster smoother more modern transmission I’ve heard the older 4 speed autos having a problems with reverse(and experienced it) So even if you find an earlier car where the wiring harness was replaced you may run into more issues along with parts availability. My R129 it has had some problems like the hydraulics for the top not working properly. The strut mounts rubber falling apart, a radiator that gave out, egr valve rubber hose that cracked (easy fix) and a blower motor wouldn’t spin at high speeds but it always ran and drove. I say look for something around 97 or newer with either the W140 or R129

Have had my 400SEL since 2013. The previous owner spent a fortune on it. I have spent a small fortune on it. Fortunately have a mechanic whom was trained on engineering the W140's to fix it and do repairs without being completely exploited. In saying that its now in the best mechanical condition I have ever experienced. On the M1 highway it cruises like sitting in 1st Class on a Boeing air-jet and is moderate on fuel consumption. Before it use to drink like a camel. Drive it only on Sundays for 2hrs. Everything works on it now. Its unique, masterly engineered and superior in comfort and way more affordable than its really worth on the market. The equivalent in todays market I'd need 200k to spend or more for anything similar. Its priced on the market today 24k. So in a sense its the most advanced cheapest luxury vehicle today. Nothing else is comparable in my opinion. 0-90 klm is really an experience. Like a Top Gun take off. 90-180klm it monsters and you feel like the car is sitting on 110klm in a leather sofa. The vehicle is underestimated and a beast on the road.

15:58 the ac wil not kick on... if the engine doesn't run, the ac doesn't work. The vent works so the air circulates

@Jimbo: 12:35 - 12:50 -- I used to have a 94 Acura Legend GS 4-door sedan (with the ultra-rare 6-sp manual) and it also had an electronic tilt/telescoping steering wheel. In fact, when you saved the seat position in the memory, it would save the steering wheel position as well. When you turned off the car & removed the key, the steering wheel would retract all the way towards the dash & tilt up for ease of exit. It would stay that way until you got back in, put the key in the ignition & turned it back on. (Sold that car with 313K mi.) -- Greetings from HoCo, MD. Please review the black Countach & the Espada!

Bro the “Rest” feature only allows the fan and heat from the engine to circulate. It does NOT turn the air conditioner on. The compressor has to be on for the A/C to run and that means the engine has to be running because of the belt.

That phone on W140 US versions was either a Motorola or an OKI. You got an OKI Telecom UM9032. Sadly the analog cell networks are no longer active. So its only decoration.
