How do people not realize shows take way longer to make than movies in most cases, yet people are completely fine with 5-10 year gaps between movies. Season 4 was 14 hours in length which is the length of 4-6 movies in today’s terms. Plus considering each episode of season 5 will have a budget of $20 million, it is bound to take a long time. Give shows more respect, it’s a lot more work than a movie

Why would they drop and not market for atleast 4 months? Netflix wants their return lol. They didn’t give them around $20 million per episode just because they like the show or even that it’s “getting some traction and it’s quality so we’ll just increase the budget ”. It’s one of their best performaning shows ever. But honestly the problem I feel like they’re gonna run into is most of their main younger fans have grown up. Like the ones who’d make fan posts and just repost their content as free promotion. Only time will tell though.
