Although the Zero's motor has higher torque output than the LiveWire and Energica Eva, it is geared higher so has less torque at the rear wheel. In terms of rear wheel torque the pecking order is LiveWire, then Eva, then the SR/F. As you pointed out, the SR/F has a weight advantage, so it would be interesting to do a three way drag race to find out which one is the fastest. Then in terms of motor cooling, the LiveWire uses water cooling, the Eva uses oil cooling, while the SR/F uses only air cooling. So the SR/F would be the most likely to suffer from overheating in a track day situation.

I love it... how much price is??? Can I purchase this from India.

I test-rode it. It's worth it. Remember that with the instant torque it will be quicker than any mass-produced super bike off the line. Gas bikes have to rev-up to red-line to hit their peak power/torque. The super bikes (gas) will have a higher top end speed, but 124 MPH is enough for me. Two reasons I haven't ordered one yet: I'm waiting until the 'PowerTank' is available for longer range (supposed to be available by the end of the year), and I'm also waiting to see what Lightning does with their 'Strike'. (They've kept us in suspense for 6 months now).

Really good Bike. I tested it. Lovely but way much to expensive.

I ordered it in December and it is now at the dealership. Let's get the paperwork done :-)

I'll wait for lightning strike and see if it holds up to the SR/F

Zachary Brown Have you ordered a Strike? Im very interested in it.
@zabrown4665 жыл бұрын
Andrew Allen no but I’m very interested. Has better specs than zero, better looks and a lot cheaper. Want to at least get on one before deciding.
@andrewallen99185 жыл бұрын
Zachary Brown Or slightly less expensive but with 5kWh more battery/more range. Doesn’t come with traction control but faster charging. I hope a KZbinr from the UK has ordered one, otherwise it’s a flight to California...I’ve never been so...US sales first though so will await with interest.

Please, do a review for the vintage electric motorcycles from Super Soco! They're really affordable and use swappable batteries too!

How my beer... what about the "Lightning Strike" motorcycle

Good point! I think they’re US only at the moment though, so not much chance I’ll get to test one

How what?

I would love this my problem is range. i drive 33 miles one way to work over a mountain and if i want to go see friends or meet up i am looking at 40 to 8 miles one way and it is back roads. also my friends like to take bike rides and they will ride 200 miles in a day. so for me it is still traditional for now. but i do love the idea.

I would wish it make a nice sound... that’s one of the most important things about a bike is the sound
@ozzie4445 жыл бұрын
When I was a kid we used to take an empty cigarette cardboard pack and clip it onto the front fork of our bicycles with a clothes pin with the cigarette pack cardboard facing so the bike's spokes would hit the cardboard as the wheel was turning and it would sound like a motorcycle. You cold do that right?

I'm worried about car drivers with this thing. Many barely notice you anyways and I imagine it's gonna get a lot worse when you almost don't make any sound
@Mrs0ali05 жыл бұрын
Don't worry, most drivers have blasting music on, or sit in a well noise reduced chamber. Already today your not noticed because of noise but because of lights. And still there's a great horn ;)

Was going to buy a Livewire but common sense kicked in and I got the SR/F. No regrets as I saved 10k not including the 3k dealer markup at HD and the extra taxes. Level 2 charging was the key to the recharging kingdom where I live so that was just a bonus.

We're still a way off mainstream pricing. The Zero S starts at £9k though and was still a blast to ride.

Cheaper then a Harley Davidson live wire
@terrybeb5 жыл бұрын
@@dennism103 maybe so.... but if you have the money then the Harley still will have the better build quality. All E-Bikes are way too expensive. Now is the time for the tech company exec's to purchase them to create a base to build off of like Tesla did. Eventually the price will come down to be attainable for the masses. Until then, most will just watch the videos.
