I've described this realm as being a school for masochistic shamans. Suffering will always be of value to those that can do alchemy with it. I know from my own meditation practice, that by actively seeking out pain, and choosing to experience the totality of it, I also arrive at a place where I can transmute it. Whether something is a state of suffering or not really comes down to your perspective of the situation. You'll likely feel victimized by pain if you feel the situation is being inflicted on you. It's far more empowering to look at pain as an opportunity. Remember: Pain might be mandatory, but suffering is optional! 😉

I love it! Even though it's a very hard and controvertial topic it makes sense. The same way that there is no real "evil" but this too is a learning tool. Topics like that are hard to grasp as a human, but deep down I know that it's true. Somehow with all of the knowledge out there that we have access to right know no matter how esotheric it may sound I always feel like it completely makes sense. So it wasn't too esotheric! Even though I find this explanation beautiful, for me it doesn't feel complete. There is still a part in it that we cannot understand or explain. I have a very triggering example. On christmas Eve, in the country I am living in, a mother has killed brutally her two young children. As I am an empath, I could feel the horror in which these two souls have died. Usually, I totally agree that the experience of being here in the matrix is a learning for most of us, BUT there is no single explanation why a soul would choose a life of a child being brutally murdered by his or her mother. There can't be a learning in this experience, because this child had never a chance to learn something from it expect of being so terrified that this soul decided to never come again. Can it be that some souls are sacrificed for the learning of others? I don't know. But there is a missing part in it.

i feel as though mental health impedes this growth via suffering. I am a deeply spiritual person, deeply versed in its teachings, and yet, when my crushing depression hits, there is no rationale that remains within reach that helps me "choose" not to suffer. Any suggestions on ways to navigate when dealing with incessant mental health issues? Especially for those of us whom this condition has impeded our ability to connect with spirit, our spirit team, and our higher self for guidance? I'm in therapy and also supplementing with meds, but nothing is helping. Much love and appreciation to you.

Do not fight the pain and depression. Don’t even label the feeling as such. Accept it. Ask it questions. Have long conversations and write them down. What do your dreams tell you? What is your truth? Where did the pain even start? I pulled myself out of deep mental health issues by doing being honest with myself. You must be willing to be a completely different person and go through an incredible death

@@janitor6668 thank you so much for your feedback. i'm so happy for you that you were able to overcome your own challenges. when my depression hits, my brain becomes so discombobulated that its hard to even think clearly let alone have a deep conversation with myself. i've somehow allowed my ego to become quite the formidable monster. But yes, trying to find answers is my goal, it's just so incredibly hard to even think straight during these bouts, making progress feel non-existent with no light to be seen at the end of the tunnel.

Release buried emotions (such as with the Emotional Freedom Technique--EFT), take vitamin Bs, and address gut/thyroid issues. 5HTP or Tryptophan can give you Serotonin, which can help. Note that SSRIs generally have Serotonin, which is why they tend to help a little. You may not want to double-up on it. I, personally, wouldn't touch the drugs. Vitamin Bs helped me. I later learned about the others.

Whenever someone talks about suffering, I assume they mean physical suffering (the vast majority of mine), but they never do. It's much easier to do something about emotional suffering, although it would help if someone told us WHAT to do about it. For instance, when I went through it, I needed someone to tell me I had to change a belief. Then I wouldn't have had to suffer so long. To this day I've never heard anybody suggest that. I was later taught that releasing buried emotions can end physical suffering (and emotional). I've been at it for many, many years, and today I'm under the impression that my relief will come when the planets align correctly. It's no longer in my hands. I'm waiting on astrology...I think. How does that serve me? And for what purpose must it get so bad?

These teachings do more harm than good, because they don't adress people's needs. There's a core of truth in that this was setup to elicite suffering. But yeah....we can't even trust starseeds to denounce the silliness of this setup.

I used to have self-hate and didn't know why. It turned out to be from two past lives growing up in abusive homes. So it was inflicted on me, and I took it in. I'm guessing this is the most common cause of it. I think it would help others to know this. We need to be the ones to stand up for ourselves.

Also, why does this classroom have to be so hard? This question has consumed most of my adult life. What plant medicine generously explained to me was that kharma plays a big role. Some souls seemingly tortured in this lifetime were the ones whom inflicted pain in previous lifetimes. Aka, sometimes you're the hammer, sometimes you're the nail. Important lessons are learned in this way. Also, akashic records have spoken to me that there are "new" souls on this cycle of Earth who offered to incarnate here at this time to take vast amount of kharma on their shoulders by being birthed into specific families, having a rough childhood, so they can clean up those lineages' kharma. These are the Starseeds, the Lighworkers, whom once awaken, remember they have the power to transmute the darkness into positive. But we all have such power, every single one of us can either remain in a state of victimhood, or make a choice at some point to change our condition. Starseeds are here to remind us that. The divine power lies within each of us. Hope this bring a flame of hope, as nothing is random, nothing is forgotten by God, nothing is punished. There are lessons to learn in our evolution ✨️

An issue is that you are asking this question from the human perspective. "Why would a human choose to suffer?" Instead of asking "why would a soul choose to suffer" you are forgetting that we are first of all a soul in a human body, not just a human body. Maybe there's a difference between knowing and experiencing. With the Internet, we can "know" anything pretty easily, but if you ever read about something you experienced firsthand, then you know that inevitably something will be missing. Maybe humans are one mile marker on the road to the reconciliation of knowing + experiencing = true knowledge.
