This signing really exposes fan bases outside of LA. Everyone was all “PaY tHe MaN” and then as soon as he signs this, all of a sudden it’s “an over pay” and “he’s not worth the money”. Don’t bitch because your team didn’t do enough to sign him. Also, his aav is NOT 70 million a year. It has been clearly stated multiple times that the money is deferred out.

I think this signing is just lame. The dodgers are already good. A team like the Giants could use him so much more. I’m disappointed. Wait 4 years until the dodgers pay 70 mil a year for someone batting .200 with 12 home runs.
