2013 Was the Year of Jose Fernandez, could’ve won the Cy Young award in 2016, but his death ruined his chances. R.I.P Jose gone too soon

Logan O’hoppe should be an all star. He has similar stats to both adley and salvy with 75 less at bats. The only reason he’s probably not an all star is because salvy is more known

If I have to look at Baserunning stats to see if the guys all star quality or not I honestly don’t care, that guys not an all star

He was born in and died in Philly, watched ATL win the World Series in 95, go to it in 96, and probably took out some form of revenge on them

Remember the name of Masyn Winn of the Cardinals. He has the numbers, but because he is a lead-off hitter, he will not hit the home runs or get many rbis. He is still flirting around the .300 mark, in his first full season in the MLB. He did not had that good series in Washington, but he been good on defense too.

What about Bruce Turang? Best second baseman in NL this year by most metrics.
@nhc77723 күн бұрын
Also, not to pile on but they got the reserve 2nd basemen wrong in both the AL and NL. Marcus and Luis are horrible picks for the All Star game

How the hell is Clay Holmes an All Star over Kenley Jansen and Craig Kimbrel? Those two have been the better closers and it’s not close

Luke weaver should’ve had clay holmes spot if they wanted a Yankee bullpen arm. Jansen and Kimbrel also deserve a spot.
@zacherygoldstein18103 күн бұрын
Stat wise weaver was much better but there should be more players in general imo

It's just a popularity contest when it comes to the voting for the ASG and the HR derby. Reason it's like that is because it makes MLB more money during the weekend. It is a business at the end of the day so it'll continue to be this way.

Livan had a lot of late movement on his pitches. Is it possible some of those pitches crossed home plate and due to the late movement made them appear as balls.

He did that in the live ball area. When MLB got a real ball his home runs ended. Bad fielder, slow, very weak arm.

I hate that LA gets more than one City Connect. The first was nothing special and the second is nothing to write home about. I bet most teams are wishing they could get a second chance to nail their City Connect.

The idea that bichette's shitty performance this year is somehow indicative of his true worth as a player is an absurd and unreasonable claim. This past two months of playing has been an ANOMALY within his career. Remember this is the guy who led the AL in hits two years in a row and had he not missed 3 weeks due to injury last year would have made it 3 in a row. it's obviously not fun or pleasant to watch his struggles this season. But to give up on his potential based on this uncharacteristc mediocrity is downright absurd. As a Jays fan, this season isn't looking good. But let's not lose our heads about our talent's likely potential. If we trade Bo I truly believe we will live to regret it.
@kevinsabko701113 күн бұрын
I don't hate on G.Jr or Bo but I wish they would get more serious and take charge of this team can't really get much better pitching. Defense could be a bit better but can't complain. hitting has been getting it together a bit but if G.Jr and Bo would be leaders like they are I bet Jays make a quick turn around and make the playoffs this season. Because I think Jays are at the point of poop or get off the pot time.
@noahandhisbro237713 күн бұрын
Bichette and Guerrero Jr were able to be the faces of the team but that was almost 3 years ago. They are barley able to outperform a guy like Schneider who is in his first somewhat full mlb season and is doing fairly solid. But that is no longer cutting it when they become good to great players every other year which doesn’t help when the rest of your team are all ageing players who can’t contribute like they use to. They need to start trading pieces of that team and hire a better head coach.

We don’t want dependable we want stars. Shut up old head you know nothing about the new game of baseball. Bo, vlad, springer, barger, ikf and horwitz are amazing players that are able to play well when on their game. No one wants the norm. Grow up from the 80s and start caring about stars and people who can preform in a classy fashion. Talent will always beat hard work
